    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformalize the heating temperatures of all heating resistors even in an extremely long head by a method wherein a low resistive roundabout common wiring is arranged outside respective divided ink grooves, inside the divided ink grooves a common wiring is arranged, so as to connect both the wirings with the common wiring at the respective divided parts of a common ink groove. SOLUTION: A circuit consists of thin film heating resistors 52, a common thin film wiring conductor 54 and a driver device under the condition that both the sides of respective common ink grooves and the upper part and the outer periphery of a driver IC device are used as wiring regions. In this case, in order to make the resistance value of the common thin film wiring conductor 54 smaller, the common ink groove is divided into a plurality of ink grooves 61A and 61B and low resistive roundabout common wiring made of Al 70 is provided outside the ink groove so as to connect both the wiring 70 and a common wiring made of Ni 54 are connected with a wiring made of Ni 72 through a through hole at the connecting point of the respective divided parts of the common ink groove. Thus, the line resistance of a long common wiring made of Ni 54 can be lowered.

    • PURPOSE: To discriminate the propriety of a head at the stage of a wafer when a large quantity of highly integrated print heads are simultaneously manufactured by emitting a convergent light to a water droplet discharged from the head, and discriminating the propriety of the head from the correlation between the reflected light and a discharge signal. CONSTITUTION: The rear surface (ink supply port side) part along the outer periphery of a print head wafer 21 is vacuum evacuated by a wafer suction water tank 22 to the water tank in which the wafer 21 is a bottom, and the tank is fully filled pure water. An optical system is set to the position of a print head chip 32 to be inspected of the wafer 21. The water droplet is discharged in response to the input of the signal from the normal nozzle of the normal head 32, and the speeds and the shapes of the droplets become substantially the same at all the nozzles. Accordingly, the time of crossing a slitlike light ray converged to the forward predetermined position of the nozzles has predetermined relationship with the input time of the signal. Therefore, since the scattered light at the time of crossing the droplet by the light can be detected by a photosensor, the non-defectiveness or the defectiveness can be discriminated from the time difference from the discharge signals.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of color mixture during the wiping period by allowing an ink reservoir-integrally provided cleaning unit to scan in the direction parallel to a row of orifice of a recording head during head cleaning, and dammy-discharging ink from the immediately after wiping orifice to the ink reservoir. CONSTITUTION:During the cleaning period of a head, a suction conveyer 28 is moved away of the head surface, and a cleaning unit 11 is permitted to move from a predetermined outside custody area of the right or left end of a line head 1. At the same time, a cap is opened and the head sliding surface of a wiper 9 is slidingly cleaned by the end surface of the frame, and the wiping of the head discharge surface is initiated and ink is collected on the sliding surface side of the wiper 9 and then flows down along the wiper 9 to finally be filled in an ink reservoir 10. At this time, though the row of the ink discharge ports is separated little, ink lying around the ink discharge port undergoes color mixture slightly. Before the color-mixed ink expands and spreads to the vicinity of the individual ink flow path, it is dammy-discharged to be filled in the ink reservoir 10 in order to resolve its color mixture completely.

    • PURPOSE:To attain further reduction in size and weight by arranging the longitudinal direction of a thermosensitive paper and a handset in parallel and making the outside dimension of an equipment in the direction almost the same as the larger one of a transmitting original reading width or a thermosensitive recording width. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensitive recording part is composed of a extremly small thermal head structured by die-bonding a monolithic LSI thermal print head to a heat sink, a platen roller and the thermosensitive paper so as to send a printed thermosensitive paper from an opening part by rotary-driving the platen roller by a pulse motor. In this case, the longitudinal direction of the thermosensitive paper and the handset 12 are arranged in parallel and the outside dimension of the equipment in the longitudinal direction is made almost the same as the larger one of the transmitting original reading width and the thermosensitive recording width. Thereby, epochal reduction in size and weight is attained and in the example of miniaturizing most, a telephone facsimile equipment smaller than a desk top electric equipment in a present state can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a heat fixing unit concurrently improved with the nonstickiness and heat conductivity of the fluorinated carbon resin coated on a metal belt and simplified with the production process. CONSTITUTION:A heater 1 is provided at least on one of a pair of rollers 6, 11 pressed to each other and rotated, an image carrier 7 with an unfixed toner image is fed between the rollers 6, 11 to heat-melt and fix the unfixed toner image in a heat fixing device. The roller 11 with the heater 1 of the heat fixing device is constituted of an integrated structure type heating/cooling device 10 consisting of a cooling structural body 3 concurrently serving as a supporter and the heater 1, an endless metal belt 4 rotated in contact with the integrated structure type heating/cooling device 10 and dispersed with fluorinated graphite fine grains and surface-treated with dispersion nickel plating on the outer surface in contact with the image carrier 7, and a drive roller 5 rotatively driving the belt 4 while applying tension to the belt 4.
