    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of suppressing an increase in ink temperature in a recording head by the heat transmitted from a driving IC chip and suppressing deterioration of the quality of an image by generating a temperature difference in the recording head.
      SOLUTION: The recording head 1 which an actuator 11, a cavity part 10 and a flexible flat cable 12 overlie is internally mounted in a head holder 8 of a carriage. A driving IC chip 12c is mounted on the flexible flat cable 12. A bottom plate part 60a of a first heat sink 60 is brought into contact with the driving IC chip 12c so as to be thermally conducted to stand a vertical part 60b. The proximal end part 61b of a second heat sink 61 is brought into contact with a wiring pattern forming part on the flexible flat cable 12 between the driving IC chip 12c and the actuator 11 so as to be thermally conducted. Below the bottom plate part 60a, a heat dissipation part 61a of the second heat sink 61 is extended and a part of the heat dissipation part 61a is exposed to the outside of the head holder 8.

SOLUTION: Bumps 92 for electrically joining to an actuator 11 are formed on a surface joined to the actuator 11 of the flexible flat cable 12, and also the circuit elements 80 are mounted on the surface. Bump electrodes are set thereon. Each common electrode terminal 35 and the nearly center part 34a of the common surface electrode 34 are connected to the corresponding bump electrode.
