    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve control device for an internal combustion engine capable of achieving both of reduction of the pumping loss and improvement of combustion in the internal combustion engine equipped with an external EGR device.
      SOLUTION: A cam shaft 2 is provided with a first cam shaft part 201, and a second cam shaft part 202 coaxially and relatively rotatably to the first cam shaft part, and is provided with a fixed cam 211 fixed to one of the first cam shaft part and the second cam shaft part and driving one suction valve 21a of a pair of suction valves 21a and 21b, a movable cam 212 interlocked by the other of the first cam shaft part and the second cam shaft part and relatively variably driving the other suction valve 21b of the pair of the suction valves with respect to opening and closing timing of the one suction valve 21a, and rotational phase adjustment means 28 and 38 adjusting a rotational phase of the second cam shaft part with respect to the first cam shaft part and driving the movable cam by the different opening and closing timing with respect to the fixed cam by adjusting the rotational phase when recirculating recirculated exhaust to a suction passage side in external EGR devices 41 and 29.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injector of an internal combustion engine capable of injecting only gas fuel, capable of sufficiently exhibiting exhaust gas improving effect by burning the gas fuel, and capable of preventing deterioration of fuel economy and combustion by injecting liquid fuel together with the gas fuel.
      SOLUTION: The injector 1 for the internal combustion engine includes a needle 31 for opening and closing an injection hole 35, a control chamber 2 for acting pressure on the needle 31, a working fluid supply passage 23 for supplying working fluid to the control chamber 2, a solenoid valve 5 for controlling inflow and outflow of the working fluid to the control chamber 2, a nozzle chamber 33 disposed around the needle 31, and a gas fuel supply passage 25 and a feed passage 34 for supplying the gas fuel to the nozzle chamber 33. Between the control chamber 2 and the nozzle chamber 33, a ring seal 37 is provided around the needle 31 which is a sliding member sliding in accordance with opening and closing of the injection hole 35.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve which can prevent an actuating fluid for actuating a needle valve and a fluid fuel injected when the needle valve is open from leaking out toward each other.SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve has the needle valve 32, and a nozzle body 36 that has a circular seal chamber 52 composed so as to encircle the needle valve 32. The fuel injection valve has a lip seal 54 which is provided inside the seal chamber 52 and which has a circular lip section 54a having a sliding face 54a1 that is in sliding contact with a periphery 32a of the needle valve 32. An O ring 56 which exists by being compressed by the lip section 54a and the periphery 52a is provided between the lip section 54a and the periphery 52a of the seal chamber 52. A back up ring 58 is arranged in contact with a contact face 54b2 of a flange section 54b in the seal chamber 52 and so as to be pressed against the periphery 32a of the needle valve 32 when a pressure of a gas fuel that acts on inside the seal chamber 52 is received.

In such a case, the second control is executed unde low speed area of the engine E, and the first control is executed in other areas.
