    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a trouble like an erroneous rupture of score by an ordinary user from occurring with no score-rupturing tab provided at the external face of a cylindrical side wall, and to make a cap easily removable by hand from a mouth part of a container without using a special tool. SOLUTION: The present cap is composed of a cap main body 1 to be fitted and fixed to a mouth part of a container and an upper lid 2 to be provided for covering the cap main body 1, and the cap main body 1 is constructed, being equipped with a top plate part 5 whereon a contents-pouring opening can be formed and a cylindrical side wall 6 extending from the peripheral edge of the top plate part 5. A protuberance 20 for engagement with the external face of the mouth part of the container is formed at the inner face of the cylindrical side wall 6 while an annular score 30 is formed on a position at the underside of the protuberance 20, and the lower end of the cylindrical side wall 6 is curved toward the inside so that it can be fitted into a groove formed at the external face of the mouth part of the container. A slit 31, being a starting point for rupture for the annular score 30, is extending upward from the lower end of the cylindrical side wall 6 up to a point not reaching to the annular score 30.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container lid made of synthetic resin in a form that a reinforcing wall surrounding a vertical wall of a lid body is placed wherein the vertical wall and the reinforcing wall surrounding it are integrally manufactured simply by injection molding or compression molding, and when a lid body is to be removed from a neck of a container, reinforcement of the vertical wall can be canceled. SOLUTION: The container lid made of synthetic resin attached to a neck of a container equipped with a locking jaw on an outer peripheral face includes a lid body 4 having a cylindrical vertical wall 42 including a locking protrusion 421 to be locked with the locking jaw on an inner peripheral face and a cylindrical reinforcing wall 42 surrounding the vertical wall 42. The reinforcing wall 43 is connected to the vertical wall 42 at a position corresponding to the locking protrusion 421 via a narrow connection 47 as wide as 0.2 to 0.8 mm. The reinforcing wall 43 is formed with a plurality of breaking lines 432 extending from an upper end of the wall to at least a position corresponding to the locking protrusion 421.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release the reinforcing action of a vertically hung wall by a method wherein a cylindrical reinforcing wall which surrounds the vertically hung wall is connected to the vertically hung wall with a narrower width connecting part of a specified width, and a major breaking line which extends to the connecting part is formed on the reinforcing wall, and the narrower width connecting part is made to be an easily breakable thinner region. SOLUTION: A cylindrical reinforcing wall 43 is arranged in a manner to surround a cylindrical vertically hung wall 42, and a male thread 431 is formed on the outer periphery. For the cylindrical reinforcing wall 43, the lower end is connected to the lower end of the cylindrical vertically hung wall 42 with a narrower width connecting part 47. The width S of the narrower width connecting part 47 is set to be 0.2-0.8 mm. For the cylindrical reinforcing wall 43, a major breaking line which extends from the upper end to the narrower width connecting part 47 is formed at a location being adjacent to a non- breakable thick region of a thinner easily breakable region. By this method, a lid main body 4 can be easily removed from the mouth part of a container.
