SOLUTION: This joint structure is composed by providing a pair of gasket supporting members 9a, 9b connected to a mullion member 6 and extending between the side edges of window plate materials 4a, 4b by opening a space between them, a pair of gaskets 8a, 8b insetting between and supporting the side side edges of the window plate material 4a, 4b and respectively connected to and supported by the gasket supporting members 9a, 9b, and a joint sealed part 10 formed by fitting a backup material 22 into the space formed between the gasket supporting members 9a, 9b and filling a recessed part composed of the backup material 22 and the gasket supporting members 9a, 9b with a sealing compound 23. Slippage of the window plate materials 4a, 4b can be absorbed through the gasket supporting members 9a, 9b because the pair of gasket supporting members 9a, 9b are made to respectively support the pair of gaskets 8a, 8b and the joint sealing part 10 is provided between the gasket supporting members 9a, 9b.
