摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boat lifting device which enhances the appearance of a ship and achieves improved lifting/lowering work efficiency of a stern boat, and which also has the reduced cost and a compact accommodation recess.SOLUTION: The boat lifting device 1 is provided on a broadside 2 of a hull S of a ship and lifts/lowers the stern boat 3 with respect to the accommodation recess R for accommodating the stern boat 3 to be loaded on the ship. The boat lifting device has a door 7 which can open/close an opening part 6 of the accommodation recess R at the broadside 2, and when the door closes the opening part 6 of the accommodation recess R, the door is flush with a periphery of the opening part of the accommodation recess R at the broadside 2. A davit 4 and the door 7 are connected to each other via a link 19, and when carrying out the stern boat 3, the door 7 is detached from the opening part 6 of the accommodation recess R and the opening part 6 is opened as a result. When carrying in the stern boat 3, the opening part 6 of the accommodation recess R is closed by the door 7.
