    • PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of a motor due to the leakage of a fuel and to avoid the danger of the leaking fuel being ignited by a method wherein in the case of a roller vane pump, a synthetic resin rotor containing magnetic particles and supported by a projection formed on a partition wall is driven by a magnetic member fixed to the output shaft of the motor through the partition wall. CONSTITUTION:The disk-shaped magnetic member 1b made of a magnetic material such as a ferrite magnet and magnetized to a single pole or a plurality of poles in the circumferential direction is fitted on the top end of the output shaft 1a of the motor so as to extend normal to the axis of the output shaft. Further, the rotor 4 is rotatably supported by the projection 2a and is provided with a plurality of equally spaced grooves 4a opening in the circumferential direction. In this case, the rotor 4 is produced by molding a synthetic resin material containing the magnetic particles and is magnetized to a single pole or a plurality of poles in the circumferential direction. Thus, when the magnetic member 1b on the top end of the output shaft 1a of the motor is rotated with the rotation of the motor, the rotor 4 of the roller vane pump rotates due to its magnetic force and the fuel flows through a pump chamber only without entering into the motor section at all.

    • PURPOSE:To arrange so that a high pump pressure may be maintained even at time of low rotation by effecting a contact of the external circumferential surface of a cylindrical member provided at the center of a rotor with a sliding member and the pressing of the sliding member against a diametrical direction. CONSTITUTION:If a rotor 22 rotated in an arrow direction, the external circumferential surface of a cylindrical member 34 provided at the center of the rotor 22 shifts in the direction of a discharge port 18, pressing a sliding member 28 against the internal circumferential surface of a cylindrical cavity 14. As a result, the volume of a pump chamber 30 expands, resulting in the suction of a liquid from a suction port 16 and the discharing of the said liquid from a discharge port 18. In addition, if a high-pressure liquid is supplied from the suction port 16 and is discharged from the discharge port 18, the rotor 22 rotates in an arrow direction and functions as a liquid-pressure motor. Under this constitution, the cylindrical member 34 always presses the sliding member 28 against the internal circumferential surface of the cylindrical cavity 14 by mechanical force, so that a pump pressure can be maintained at a high level even at time of low rotation.
