    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a closing gear set up in a heating system for an automobile and maintain a basic operating system for heating by an internal combustion engine and for heating by an auxiliary heater during stopping the engine. SOLUTION: This heating system includes a water-air heat exchanger connected to a cooling water passage for an internal combustion engine and also connected to an auxiliary heater independent of the internal combustion engine and a closing gear operated by a thermostat, the closing gear being formed so that a hot water heated by the auxiliary heater flows in the heat exchanger at a preset or lower temperature specified by the thermostat 35 and flows through the internal combustion engine at a higher temperature and a cooling water heated by the internal combustion engine flows through the heat exchanger during stopping the auxiliary heater. This heater has an inflow chamber 25 connected to a cooling water circuit for the internal combustion engine, an outflow chamber 34 connected to the heat exchanger and the auxiliary heater and a check valve 31 having a valve member 30 between the chamber 25 and the chamber 34 and a valve seat 27, wherein a flow from the chamber 34 to the chamber 25 is prevented and the chamber 25 and the chamber 34 are connected together via a leak hole 29.

    • PURPOSE: To give an air flow at appropriate temperature to a heat exchanger of an automobile compartment by initiating circulation of a heat carrier passing through a heat storage at the latest when an engine is started, maintaining the circulation until the content in the heat storage is completely replaced, re-starting the circulation of the heat carrier at the latest during the ignition-off to reduce a request for a space. CONSTITUTION: When an engine 10 is started, the circulation of a heat carrier across a heat storage 34 is initiated at the latest, and maintained until all the content in the heat storage 34 is completely replaced. When the ignition of the engine 10 is switched off, the circulation of the heat carrier across the heat storage 34 is re-started at the latest, and maintained until all the content in the heat storage 34 is replaced. Preferably, the circulation of the heat carrier across the heat storage 34 is re-started when the temperature of the engine 10 or the heat carrier to be circulated in the engine 10 reaches the specified threshold, and the heat storage 34 contains hot water, and a heat storage material is maintained in a heated condition so that the heat can be used immediately from the heat storage 34 as necessary.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a heating device for an automobile, which can carry out rapid heating by utilizing heat reserved in a heat accumulator without waiting warming-up of an engine when reserved heat temperature of the heat accumulator is high enough, and can carry out rapid heating efficiently while planning to accumulate heat in the heat accumulator simultaneously without deteriorating heating efficiency when reserved heat temperature of the heat accumulator is low, in the case of desiring rapid heating. CONSTITUTION:A circulation route C0 for engine cooling water is assumed to include the first route C1 which circulates the cooling water in the order of an engine E, a heat accumulator B a heater core H, and the second route which circulates the cooling water in the order of the engine E, the heater core H and the heat accumulator B. Moreover, route switching valves V1-V6 are provided in the circulation route C0 and the cooling water is circulated through the first route C1 when the reserved heat temperature of the heat accumulator B is high and the cooling water is circulated through the second route C2 when it is low, by opening or closing these route switching valves V1-V6 properly.
