SOLUTION: In the sound reproducing device, a sound emission part includes: a plurality of resonance modes whose oscillation displacement becomes the maximum with different frequencies; and an ultrasonic wave oscillator capable of exciting oscillation to which mode coupling is performed between frequencies for exciting the plurality of resonance modes, and part of the frequency bands capable of exciting the oscillation to which the mode coupling is performed is made into a frequency of a carrier wave. Thus, the signal in the audible band output from an audible band signal source is demodulated, reproduced with stable sound pressure in the wide frequency band by making a frequency of the mode coupling with low rate of change in oscillation displacement to the frequency into a conveyance signal.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize all of sound waves emitted from both sides of a push-pull type ultrasonic transducer as a sound source.
      SOLUTION: The ultrasonic speaker comprises using an ultrasonic transducer which has a vibrating membrane with a conductive layer and a pair of fixed electrodes provided opposing to each face of the vibrating membrane; generating sound waves by applying a DC bias voltage to the conductive layer of the vibrating membrane and also applying an AC signal between the pair of fixed electrodes; and outputing the sound waves generated by the vibrating membrane from two sound wave outputting faces via through holes provided on each of the pair of fixed electrodes. The sound wave outputting faces of the ultrasonic transducer are arranged in the orthogonal direction to the direction of sound wave emission. Reflectors are provided corresponding to the two sound wave outputting faces of the ultrasonic transducer and reflect the sound waves output from each sound wave outputting face in the direction of sound wave emission.
