    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillatory wave driver which can drive oscillatory wave without increasing power consumption, by reducing output loss due to an oscillatory wave driver not contributive to movement of a moving body, when moving the moving body in a two-dimensional different direction by using at least one oscillatory wave driver.SOLUTION: The oscillatory wave driver includes an oscillator having an electromechanical energy conversion element, and moves a moving body which comes into contact with the oscillator by frictional force when oscillation is excited in the oscillator. The oscillatory wave driver has a moving mechanism which can move the oscillator in a second direction intersecting a first direction, i.e., the direction of a driving force generated from the oscillator, in a plane parallel with a contact surface of the oscillator and the moving body.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the entire length of a vibration actuator.SOLUTION: A vibration actuator includes: vibrators (11, 12) excited by an electromechanical conversion element; a rotor part 13 relatively rotated by vibrations of the vibrators; a pressurizing part 4 generating a pressurizing force in a thrust direction between the vibrators and the rotor part; a hollow rotor holder 2 restricting the position of the rotor part in the thrust direction and the radial direction; and a thrust bearing 1 having a rotation shaft coaxially provided with rotation shafts of the vibrators.
