    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor which can equalize the surface potential of an optical member with a reference potential by simple work and therefore excels in assembly workability.SOLUTION: In a camera incorporating an image sensor 33, an optical low-pass filter (LPF) 410 is disposed on the subject side of the image sensor 33, and a base member 420a of a light shield mask 420 is stuck to the subject side of the LPF 410 with a double-sided adhesive sheet 420c. Also, the light shield mask 420 is energized toward the LPF 410 by a conductive energization member 430, and the energization member 430 is attached to a body chassis 300 which constitutes a reference potential. A notch 420d is cut in the base member 420a, and a conductive sheet 420b is disposed on a subject side surface so as to cover the notch 420d, and the conductive sheet 420b is pressed against the LPF 410 by the energization member 430, whereby the LPF 410 is electrically connected to the body chassis 300 via the conductive sheet 420b and the energization member 430.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device that can be driven by a simple configuration in a Z-axis direction in addition to a direction along an XY plane, increases driving force by reducing friction when driven, and can be held in a precise position when stopped, and an imaging instrument equipped with the driving device.SOLUTION: A driving device 300 comprises: a frame 167; a contact body 311 supported by the frame 167; a holder 145 supported by being pressed against the contact body 311; VCMs 320 and 321 configured to move the frame 167 relative to them in a direction along a support surface composed by the contact body 311; and an oscillator 310 for displacing the contact body 311 in a Z direction relative to the frame 167. During the drive, the contact body 311 is vibrated in the Z direction by the oscillator 310, thereby reducing friction between the contact body 311 and the holder 145, and generating greater driving force.
