    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner of which suction ability is hardly reduced even while dust is sucked, while securing high suction power.
      SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes a dust collecting case 5 for introducing the air containing the dust which has been sucked by an electric blower 21, a suction port 6 for introducing the air containing the dust in the tangential direction, and a dust storing portion 24 on the other end side of the suction port 6. A dust eliminating filter 27 in the dust collecting case 5 is arranged in a wind passage 29a through which the dust collecting case 5 and the electric blower 21 are connected. By a swirling air flow in the dust collecting case 5, therefore, the dust is continuously swirled in the dust collecting case 5. As a result, the dust is separated, even when being stuck to the dust eliminating filter 27, from the face of the dust eliminating filter 27. Thus, an intake air passage is constantly secured so as to prevent reduction in suction air flow, so that performance of maintaining the suction ability is excellent.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cleaner which is hardly reduced in its sucking power even it has sucked dust while retaining a high sucking work rate. SOLUTION: A dust collecting case 5 for introducing the air containing the dust sucked by an electric blower 21 has a cylindrical shape and has a sucking port 6 for introducing the air containing the dust in the tangential direction and a dust storage part 24 on the other end side of the sucking port 6. A dust eliminating filter 27 in the dust collecting case 5 is arranged in the wind passage 29a with which the dust collecting case 5 and the electric blower 21 communicate.
