    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve for pressurized fluid, a control valve assembly and a function control method of the control valve assembly of high responsiveness, without increasing a size and costs. SOLUTION: This control valve has a valve main body comprising an inlet port and a discharge port. A valve member in a flow channel extending in the valve main body and communicating the inlet port and the discharge port, is movable in the first direction to allow the pressurized fluid to direct from the inlet port to the discharge port. The valve member has first and second valve heads different from each other in diameters, and a valve seat member. The valve seat member is engaged with first and second sealing diameters of the flow channel, and the second sealing diameter is smaller than the first sealing diameter. The fluid pressure acting on the different diameters of the first valve head and the valve seat member kept into contact with the second sealing diameter, generates net return force to allow the valve member to direct to the second counter direction when actuator force is removed. An actuator 14 for moving the valve member 46 in a first direction is attached to the valve body, and an energizing member 66 for applying the energizing force to the valve member 46 in the direction opposite to the first direction is disposed between the valve member 46 and the valve body. In addition, an air assist passage 94 to be operated by combining the valve member with the energizing member 66 is mounted for moving the valve member 46 in the direction opposite to the direction of moving by the actuator 14.     • PURPOSE: To overcome the cost and weight increment of a valve structure by forming a valve base into an actual rectangular structure wherein there are those of top, bottom, front, rear and end surfaces, and installing a suction pressure port and an exhaust discharge port formed at one side. CONSTITUTION: A valve base 10 is provided with both symmetrical end surfaces 12, 13, front and rear surfaces 14, 15, and top and bottom surfaces 16, 17 as well as a pair of mounting holes 19, respectively. A suction pressure port 20 installed in the front surface 14 communicates with a vertical pressure passage 22 terminating at the top surface 16 through a horizontal suction pressure port 21. The rear surface 15 is equipped with each of cylinder supply and return ports 26 and 27 which communicate with cylinder passages 29 and 31 terminating at the top surface 16 each through two horizontal cylinder passages 28 and 30 respectively. An exhaust discharge port 34 is connected to a horizontal common exhaust discharge passage 35 which communicates with the inner end of a flow control valve chest 37 through a connecting passage 38 and also communicates with an exhaust suction passage 38 terminating at the top surface 16 while an outer end of the chamber 37 communicates with an outer part of the valve base 10. A flow control valve 39 is installed in the chamber 37. In addition, an electrical junction box 65 is equipped therein.
