摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio terminal enabling a user to easily observe an optical display by illuminating an antenna top so as to light it up with light from a light source emitted at the incoming of a signal. SOLUTION: A holder 13 for guiding/holding an expansion antenna 10 is mounted on a circuit board 3 stored in a casing 2. A light emitting diode 20 to be a light source is arranged on a cylindrical boss part 2A formed on the casing 2 so as to oppose to an antenna top 12. When the diode 20 is connected to the circuit board 3, a high frequency signal received by the antenna 10 is received by a radio part and a control part outputs a lighting command signal based on the received signal, the diode 20 emits light at the incoming of a signal. When diode 20 emits light at the incoming of a signal in the stored state of the antenna 10, the antenna top 12 formed by a transparent or translucent material is illuminated by the diode 20 and lighted up.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain stable communication by forming 1st and 2nd elements so as to make each electric length identical to each other thereby reducing the deterioration in the radiation efficiency and the interaction with respect to a human body. CONSTITUTION:The portable radio equipment 1 is provided with a case 3 made of a conductor and an antenna comprising a 1st strip conductor element B1 and a 2nd strip conductor element B2 arranged in parallel with the case 3. The distance from a feeding point 7 on the case 3 till each tip of the elements B1, B2 is nearly 1/4 wavelength with respect to the operating frequency and the height of the antenna 5 from the case 3 is 1/8 wavelength or below. Furthermore, a means is provided at least to either of the elements B1, B2 so as to make the electric length of the elements B1, B2 identical to each other. The feeding point 7 is placed with an offset from the middle of the antenna 5 to correct the electric length from the center being the feeding point 7 of the antenna 5 up to two ends (a), (b) of the antenna element thereby eliminating dual resonance and preventing the deterioration in the radiation efficiency.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod antenna and a built-in antenna which are both improved enough in radiation efficiency. SOLUTION: When a rod antenna 23 is housed in a case 1, it is contained in a conductive pipe 6, the rod antenna 23 is adjusted in length so as to have optimal radiation efficiency, and the length of the pipe 6 is so set as to enable a built-in antenna 3 to have necessary and sufficient radiation efficiency. When the rod antenna is pulled out, antenna mounting structure is capable of having optimal radiation efficiency. On the other hand, when the rod antenna 23 is housed, it is completely contained in the conductive pipe 6 and shielded, and unnecessary radiation is eliminated. At this point, the conductive pipe 6 has an effect on the radiation efficiency of the built-in antenna 3, and the length of the built-in antenna 6 is as long as λ/2, so that the conductive pipe 6 hardly interferes with the built-in antenna 3, and the built-in antenna 3 is capable of displaying its optimal radiation efficiency.
