    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer control device including a switching means interposed between a support part of a stabilizer bar and a vehicle body to surely switch both of the support part and the vehicle body between an elongating and contracting free state and a neutral position holding state with a simple and inexpensive structure.
      SOLUTION: A cylindrical piston member 20 is stored in a cylinder member 10 supported by the vehicle body VB, and the one end is supported by a mount FM1. A spring member 30 is stored in the piston member 20 and is extended between the piston member 20 and the cylinder member 10. By an engaging/disengaging mechanism 40, axially relatively moving of the cylinder member 10 and the piston member 20 is allowed in the elongating and contracting free state, and the axially relatively moving in the neutral position holding state is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission efficiency of a worm gear by disposing an auxiliary worm of semi-drum shape on one end side of a worm so as to be axially slidable, and interposing a spring between the auxiliary worm and the worm in a device for forcibly eliminating a backlash with the force of the spring. SOLUTION: A sleeve 15 with a flange 15a is fitted to a left end part of a shaft 12a of a worm 12, and an auxiliary worm 17 of semi-drum shape is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the sleeve 15 so as to be axially slidable while being rotated integrally with the shaft 12a. A compression coil spring 19 is interposed in a preload imparted state between the auxiliary worm 17 and the flange 15a so as to energize the worm 12 to one end side and to energize a worm wheel 13 clockwise by its spring force. Since the sleeve 15, auxiliary worm 17 and spring 19 are thus positioned on the left end side of the worm 12, transmission efficiency of a worm gear is improved without hindering pitch circle diameter contraction of the worm 12.
