    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent grease from leaking, and also to prevent the flow of grease base oil from being hindered by the deformation of a rubber-made packing body.SOLUTION: A bearing packing 20 is provided on an edge of a bearing cover 14 close to a bearing, the bearing cover including: an annular filling chamber 14b annularly formed along a gap between outer and inner rings of the bearing, and having an opening at a side edge of the bearing; and an outer filling chamber 14c partially enlarged and formed at the outside of the annular filling chamber 14b, and having an opening at a side edge of the bearing. The bearing packing also includes a rubber plate 21 made of rubber and deformable to be disposed along the circumferential direction of the edge close to the bearing; and a plate-like reinforcing member 22 disposed on one side of the rubber plate 21.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating structure of a bearing which can extend a lubrication life and save work in maintenance.SOLUTION: When an opening/closing part 22 is loosened to open a supply/discharge port 21a, a fluid in a bag body 20 is discharged to the outside from the supply/discharge port 21a through piping 21. As a result, an internal pressure of the bag body 20 decreases to shrink the bag body 20 and to increase a volume of an annular filling chamber 14b, forming a space Sbetween the chamber and a bearing 12. When the opening/closing part 22 is fastened to close the supply/discharge port 21a and further a new grease Gis injected through a flow passage 16d, the new grease Gis made to pass through the bearing 12 and fed to an annular filling chamber 14b on a side close to a bearing lid 14. As a result, an old grease Ginside the annular filling chamber 14b and a degraded grease inside the bearing 12 are pushed and expelled to a bottom of the annular filling chamber 14b, while the new grease Gis intermediately supplied to replenish to the space Sbetween the old grease Ginside the annular filling chamber 14b and the bearing 12.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent filling grease in grease filling chambers from being moved in a bearing even though it receives centrifugal force, by forming the outside diameters of outer circumferential walls of the geese filing chambers shorter than the inside diameter of the outer wheel of a rotating machine side bearing. CONSTITUTION: End covers 19, 20 have projected parts which are built into recessed parts of annular stepped members respectively formed to an end cover 18 and a rotor frame 7, and grease filling chambers 21, 22 opened in a bearing are respectively formed to these projected parts and filled with lubricating grease. The grease filling chambers 21, 22 are formed in the projected parts of the end covers 19, 20 attached to a rotor member 15, and the outside diameters d2 . of the outer circumferential walls of the chambers 21, 22 are formed smaller than the inside diameter d1 of a bearing outer ring 8a so that lubricating grease filled in the grease filling chambers 21, 22 may not be rotated during operation therefore, centrifugal force may not be acted thereon, and the lubricating grease is prevented from being moved in the bearing and kept under a stable condition. Further, only base oil separated from the lubricating grease by being used for 6 long period of time is supplied in the bearing so that stable lubrication can be maintained.
