    • PURPOSE: To prepare maltopentaose, industrially, by culturing a microbial strain belonging to Bacillus genus and capable of producing maltopentaose, under aerobic condition.
      CONSTITUTION: Bacillus cereus NY-14 (FERM-P No.6648) is inoculated in a medium containing a polysaccharide containing α-1,4-glucoside.glucose, e.g. starch, amylopectin, amylose, dextrin, etc. and other essential nutrients. The concentration of polysaccharide in the medium is maintained to 2W20%. After inoculation, the bacterial cell is cultured aerobically at about 30°C for 24W48hr to produce and accumulate maltopentaose in the cuture liquid. The liquid is filtered, and the filtrate is subjected to the gel-filtration, a chromatography such as ion exchange chromatograhy, etc. to obtain purified maltopentaose.

    • 目的:在有氧条件下,通过培养属于芽孢杆菌属的微生物菌株并能够产生麦芽五糖来在工业上制备麦芽五糖。 构成:将蜡状芽孢杆菌NY-14(FERM-P No.6648)接种在含有含有α-1,4-葡萄糖苷葡萄糖的多糖的培养基中,例如, 淀粉,支链淀粉,直链淀粉,糊精等必需营养素。 培养基中多糖的浓度保持在2-20%。 接种后,细菌细胞在约30℃下有氧培养24-48小时,以在切割液中产生并积累麦芽五糖。 过滤液体,滤液进行凝胶过滤,离子交换色谱等层析,得到纯化的麦芽五糖。
