摘要： PURPOSE:To activate the surface of acid-waste or polished surface of a steel plate for raising its treatability with a phosphate before painting by irradiation of laser light to the steel surface or thinly galvanized surface of an one-side hot galvanized steel plate. CONSTITUTION:In applying hot galvanization to only one side of a steel plate with molten zinc, etc., the nonhot galvanized surface or thinly galvanized surface of the steel plate is pretreated by acid washing or mechanical polishing and therefore, its treatability with phosphate before painting is lowered. Thus, a pulse laser light is irradiated onto the acid-washed or polished surface for activation and also for vaporizing a small amount of residual zinc, thereby enabling the subsequent surface treatment of the steel plate with phosphate to be performed effectively. Thus, the subsequent electrodeposition coating on the steel plate so treated can be completely carried out.

If desired, the jutting length L of upper and lower flanges is specified to 100-180mm., and the corner curvature R2 at the inside of the tip of upper and lower flanges is specified to 20mm.; hereby, the generation of flaws can be more effectively restricted.

摘要： PURPOSE:To excute titled repair in a short time keeping the air heating furnace at temperatures not to affect the refractory, by detaching the hot air valve after shutting down the air heating furnace, by closing the main hot air pipe with the shutter, and by inserting the dividable service box into the hot air outlet pipe on purpose to spray the refractory material from the service box. CONSTITUTION:The air heating furnace is shut down, the hot air valve attached to the hot air outlet pipe 3 is detached, and the bared opening 5 is cooled until its surrounding temperature becomes workable temperatures. The shutter 6 is inserted from the opening 5 and is fixed for use of the backflow arrester against the hot air from the main hot air pipe. Next, the guide rail 7 is inserted from the opening 5 into the pipe 3, and is laid by jointing with bolt-and-nuts. After that, the service box 9 is inserted from the opening 5 into the pipe 3, and is moved on the rail 7. The cool air is supplied from the blower 8 through the cool air pipe 8' whose inside temperature is hereby kept at 30-40 deg.C. The worker 16 standing in the box 9 operates the spraying of refractory material against the spot A to be repaired through the spray hose 19, the nozzle pipe 18 and the nozzle 17.

摘要： PURPOSE:To determine a sputtering depth, yield or rate by estimating ion energy and ion current value from discharge conditions, etc., for the glow discharge to execute sputtering and further comparing the same with the data in a high vacuum. CONSTITUTION:The glow discharge is executed with a metallic sample as a cathode and the surface of the sample is sputtered by gaseous ions and is etched in the depth direction. The intensity of the ion energy and the ion current value are respectively estimated by using the relation between the discharge voltage and the energy of the gaseous ion formed by the discharge or the relation between the discharge current and the ion current in the above mentioned glow discharge method. The sputtering yield of the desired sample by the above- mentioned ion energy is then estimated by applying the relation between the ion energy in a known high vacuum and the sputtering yield of the desired element to the glow discharge of a low yield. Further, sputtering depth or sputtering rate is determined by making calculation from this sputtering yield as well as the above-mentioned ion current value and sputtering time.

As the result, excellent suitability for phosphate treatment and corrosion resistance after painting are imparted to the surface of the steel plate. Further, in order to continuously treat a surface of a steel strip running at a high speed, high frequency pulse repeating laser is effective.
