摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the long-term, stabilized, and continuous running of a coal liquefaction plant by preventing the operation troubles such as blockage of pipping and valves caused by sticking of solid substance formed in the liquefaction reaction column onto the wall surface of the liquefaction reaction column and release of the sticking solid substance, when coal liquefaction reaction is carried out in the process. SOLUTION: This coal liquefaction process is carried out by pressurizing and heating a slurry containing coal, a solvent for liquefying coal, a catalyst for coal liquefaction in the presence of hydrogen and the liquefied oil is distilled and a part of the products is hydrogenated and recycled. In this case, circular mark or spiral mark are grooved on the wall surface of the liquefaction reaction column to make the flow of the liquid phase turbulent on the wall face thereby preventing solid substance from sticking to the wall surface. As a result, the operation troubles such as blockage of piping and valves caused by peel off of solid substance from the wall surface of the reaction column can be prevented and enable the long-term continuous stabilized operation of the coal liquefaction plant and reduction of its running cost.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To liquefy a kind of coal at a low cost under operating conditions with a small amount of consumed hydrogen and a high yield of the liquefied oil by determining a relationship between the amount of hydrogen required for producing a product liquefied oil and the yield of a product liquefied oil in advance and using high- temperature and high-pressure hydrogen. SOLUTION: A coal is mixed with a solvent for liquefying the coal and a catalyst for liquefying the coal to provide a slurry, which is then pressurized and heated with hydrogen to carry out the hydrogenolysis. Thereby, a crude liquefied oil is obtain. Then the oil is distilled under atmospheric or a reduced pressure and separated into a product, liquefied oil and a liquefaction residue. The resultant heavy oil is pressurized, heated and hydrogenated by using a catalyst for hydrogenating the solvent to produce the solvent for liquefying the coal. When the prepared solvent is circulated and used for slurrying the coal and liquefying the coal, the relationship between the amount of hydrogen consumed for producing the product liquefied oil and the yield of the product liquefied oil is determined for the kind of coal which is a raw material under plural operating conditions in advance. Thereby, operating conditions with a small amount of the hydrogen consumed for producing the product liquefied oil and a high yield of the product liquefied oil are read therefrom to perform the operations.

In this coal liquefaction process, one or more than two kinds of coals are formulated so that the total reactive value becomes 87% and higher in the coal texture. Additionally, the total reactive value is adjusted according to the operation purposes.

摘要： PURPOSE: To raise the hydrogen donating properties of a circulating solvent in a short time and clarify conditions for making a process system attain an equilibrium state in a coal liquefying process, comprising four steps of a slurry preparing step, a coal liquefying step, a liquefied oil distilling step and a solvent hydrogenating step, circulating and using a solvent for liquefying coal obtained in the solvent hydrogenating step in the slurry preparing step. CONSTITUTION: The mixing ratio of a medium oil to a heavy oil and the amount of a circulating solvent fed to a solvent hydrogenating step are regulated to constant values in mixing a part or the total amount of the medium oil obtained in a liquefied oil distilling step with the total amount of the heavy oil and hydrogenating the resultant mixture in the solvent hydrogenating step. Thereby, the fluctuation in the aromatic carbon fraction in the circulating solvent is suppressed to enable the stable production of the circulating solvent having the high hydrogen donative properties in a short period. Furthermore, control is performed so as to keep the total amount of the circulating solvents fed to the solvent hydrogenating step and the coal liquefying step within a prescribed range. As a result, the whole coal liquefying process is stabilized.
