CONSTITUTION:A signal which has been replayed from a magnetic tape by a rotary head 16 is input to an equalization circuit 18 through a recording and replay changeover switch 15 and an amplifier 17, its waveform distortion is reshaped here, and the signal is output to an operation and processing circuit 19 and a differentiation circuit 22. A replayed signal which has been equalized is signal-processed in the circuit 19, and the signal at a certain time and a signal which is delayed from it by one bit are analog-added. A characteristic which is given by a precoder 13 in a recording operation at this time becomes equivalent to a recorded signal prior to its precoding when a characteristic by the operation and processing circuit 19 is added. Thereby, the replayed signal processed by the circuit 19 is input to a comparator 20, it is converted into a binary digital signal in synchronization with a replay clock which is input by a PLL 29, and the signal is output as video, audio and additional-function information which has been demodulated, error-corrected and decoded in synchronization with the replay clock by a signal processing circuit 21.

The relative extent relation of detected reception power against the threshold is discriminated and the relative extent relation of the demodulation but error rate against the threshold is discriminated. The presence or absence of the shift of the angle of the polarization pane in the antenna is detected by the relative extent relations of reception power and the demodulation but error rate.

    • PURPOSE:To enable excuting effective phase compensation and wave form equalization of a regenerative wave form with a simple circuit constitution by performing an adding procession of a differentially processed signal and a signal before the differential procession after a regenerative signal having a non-symmetrical distortion respect to the plane of symmetry is square arithmatic-processed. CONSTITUTION:The outputted regenerative signal of a rotary head 7 is amplified by a regeneration amplifier 8 and a regenerative signal after an equalization whose differential characteristic of an electromagnetic conversion system is compensated by an equalization circuit 9 is square arithmatic-processed and outputted by a square processing circuit 10. A differentiation circuit 11 rotates vertical/longitudianal orientated angles included in the regenerative signal outputted from the circuit 10 by pi/2 equivalently and outputs it to an addition ratio adjusting circuit 12. An addition circuit 13 adds an output which is outputted by the circuit 12 and whose addition ratio is adjusted so that the output of the circuit 11 has a minimum non-linear distortion of the regenerative wave form by the circuit 12 and the output of the cirucit 10 to be outputted. A peak detecting circuit 14 detects data by detecting the peak of a wave form having no non-linear distortion outputted from the circuit 13. Thus, the phase compensation and wave equalization are performed effectively with a simple circuit constitution.

    • PURPOSE:To perform the ATF processing of excellent precision in all recording tracks by setting and recording a CDS value being in the pattern of a recording signal in a reduntant data part except a PCM data at the time of a recording. CONSTITUTION:Video and voice data are outputted to a record encoding circuit 15 via encoding circuits, a selection circuit 13 and an error correcting code adding circuit 14. In the circuit 15, video, voice and additional function information data are converted to a recording code capable of generating pilot signals. An ATF signal generation circuit 16 is constituted so as to have a pilot signal component by changing the polarity of the CDS while inverting the data with the period of a pilot frequency. At this time, the signal pattern of an ATF area is set by deciding the absolute value of the CDS by experiment. Signals generated in the circuit 16 and a margin part signal generating circuit 17 are outputted to a selection circuit 18, the circuit 18 selects a recording data, an ATF data and a margin data and then, output them as a recording data to recording amplifier 20.
