    • PURPOSE:To obtain a highly universal inverter controlling circuit which can control both the output pulse width and the pulse frequency by combining a variable frequency pulse generator, a variable pulse width controlling circuit, a frequency divider and a logic circuit. CONSTITUTION:A voltage/frequency converter 3 outputs a pulse of the frequency responsive to the set frequency voltage from a terminal 2, and a pulse width controlling circuit 4 controls the width of the pulse from a converter 3 in response to the set width voltage from a terminal 1. A frequency divider 5 divides the input pulse into 1/2 frequency, and the output from the divider 5 is inputted through OR circuits 6, 10 (and one through an inverter 9) to ones of AND circuits 8, 11. Signals corresponding to the ON zone of a pair of thyristors of an inverter (not shown) are applied to the other terminals 7 of and AND circuits, which in turn produces control signals P7, P8 to the respective thyristors.
