    • PURPOSE:To protect a feed water valve against a trouble by inhibiting or allowing switching of the valve provided in a feed water passage for connecting a feed water tank to humidifying means when a time that a suction temperature continuously exceeds a feed water valve operation inhibiting set temperature or a feed water valve operation allowing set temperature is a predetermined time or more. CONSTITUTION:When an air conditioner is operated, control means 10 always detects a temperature in an indoor unit or a suction temperature (s) by a suction temperature sensor 3 irrespective of an operating state of the conditioner. It counts a time t1 in which the temperature (s) continuously exceeds a preset feed water valve operation allowing set temperature S1 or a time t2 in which the temperature (s) continuously exceeds a preset feed water valve operation inhibiting set temperature S2. When the t1 is a predetermined time or more, an operation of a feed water valve 7 provided in a feed water passage 6 for connecting a feed water tank 4 to humidifying means 5 is allowed, and when the t2 is a predetermined time or more, the operation of the valve 7 is inhibited. Thus, a trouble of the valve 7 due to opening of the valve 7 when humidifying water 9 is frozen can be prevented.
