摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit provided with a lamp unit easy to assemble/ exchange and hardly causing coming off and deviating even when vibration and a fall impact is applied and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the unit. SOLUTION: A reflection sheet on a rear surface side of a light transmission plate 2, and a diffusion sheet on the surface side are arranged so as to cover the light transmission plate 2. A lamp 1 is covered with a reflector 3, and the lamp unit integrating the lamp 1, the reflector 3 and a lamp lead wire 7 is inserted into from the side. The reflector 3 and reflection sheet are held by a lamp cover 10, and the reflector 3 is held so as to be stuck to the light transmission plate 2 by guides 10b, 6a. The inserted lamp unit is held, fixed by the calking 10a of the lamp cover 10, and does not come off the deviate even when the vibration and the fall impact is applied. Respective constitution members are set up in a housing 6 made of resin, and the lamp 1 is taken off easily by shifting the calking 10a and taking the lamp unit out.

An electrode unit is not deformed, the orbit of an electron beam flow is not disturbed, and a stable high-quality image is obtained.
