摘要： PURPOSE:To secure the relative position relation between a height regulating bar and an insulating wire regulating metal plate and reduce assembling man- hours by integrally forming the height regulating bar and the insulating wire regulating metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A height regulating bar 33 is fitted and fixed by an insulating wire regulating metal plate integrated with a height regulating bar fitting metal 37. The relative position relation between the intersection between an insulating wire 31 and a linear cathode 2 and the height regulating bar 33 is determined by the component size precision of the metal plate 37 independently from the assembling size precision. Assembly precision is improved, the metal plate 37 is fitted to a back electrode 1, the bar 33 is fitted and fixed to the electrode 1, thus assembly man-hours can be reduced.

The flange part 2a is interposed between said cabinet 1 and said display panel 3, and screws 4 are used to fixedly mount the display panel 3 on the cabinet 1, and further the decoration panel 2 is fixed with the cabinet 1. Since respective members are thus mounted and fixed without using an adhesive, appearance defect caused by using the adhesive is prevented from occurring, and installation and time for drying the adhesive become needless, so that productivity can be upgraded. Further the decoration panel and the cabinet can be replaced individually when they are serviced.

The tension of linear cathodes 2a-2d is not transmitted to a back electrode 1, thus the electrode 1 is not deformed, the space distance between linear electrodes 2a-2d and the beck electrode 1 and tension of linear electrodes 2a-2d are kept constant, and a stable image with high quality is obtained.

When the back container 40 is deformed by exertion of atmosphere in the D direction the fixed stand 41 is tilted, but, since the back electrode 39 is supported at one point on the spherical face (36A) provided over the fixed stands 41, the contact point of the fixed stand 41 with the electrode 39 only shifts on the spherical face (36B) when the fixed stand 41 is tilted, and so the electrode 39 is prevented from being exerted with a force to deform and is prevented from being deformed.
