摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a hair nourishing and growing agent exhibiting excellent anti-seborrheic effect and simultaneously bringing out good hair nourishing, growing and alopecia-preventing action and having high safety over a long period by combinedly using extracts of Hypericum and an anti-seborrheic agent. CONSTITUTION:The hair nourishing and growing agent is obtained by combining an extract of Hypericum with an anti-seborrheic agent (e.g. diethylstilbestrol or acetic acid chlormadinone). The extract of Hypericum is obtained by pulverizing whole grass of hypericaeae or either one of leaf, stem, root, fruit, seed and flower thereof and extracting the pulverized plant. This extract is blended in a hair nourishing and growing agent in an amount of 0.001-10wt.% based on dried weight. The anti-seborrheic agent is preferably blended in an amount of 0.001-5wt.%. Then, this hair nourishing and growing agent contains especially preferably further carbon dioxide.

CONSTITUTION: This novel flavanonol is represented by formula I [R is a 1-12C alkyl; R and R are each H, a (halogen-substituted) 1-12C alkyl, (1-12C alkoxy-substituted) 1-12C alkoxyl group, hydroxyl where in the case that R and R are H, R is not methyl], for example, trans-3,4'-dimethylflavanonol. The compound of formula I is obtained by, for example, reaction of an O- hydroxyacylbenzene of formula II [R is H, a (halogen-substituted) 1-12C alkyl, cyano] with a benzaldehyde of formula III (R is same as R ) into a flavanone of formula IV followed by the treatment of the product with an oxidizing agent.

CONSTITUTION: This hair tonic contains a compound expressed by the formula (R is an alkyl; R and R are each H, an alkyl, an alkoxyl, OH, cyano or a halogen) as an active component in an amount of 0.0001-10wt.%, preferably 0.001-3wt.%. The compound of the formula may be solely used, and further may be jointly used with a hematogenic accelerator, an antibacterial agent, a cuticle-dissolving agent, an anti-seborrhea agent, a local stimulating agent, an anti-inflammatory agent, a humectant, an anti-androgenic hormone agent or a hair follicle activator, etc., in an amount of 0.001-5wt.%, for enhancing the hair-nourishing effect. Furthermore, an arbitrary component mixed with usual hair tonic is suitably mixed and mainly formed to a formation of lotion. A formation of cream or gel is also possible. A liquid agent is preferably mixed with a carbon dioxide gas and adjusted to pH4.5-6.5.
