摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent increase of fog with the lapse of time without lowering photographic sensitivity by regulating a weight ratio of gold to silver and using a specified gold compound. CONSTITUTION:This silver halide photographic sensitive material has photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers on a support, and this material has a gold to silver weight ratio of >=1.0X10 and at least one of the emulsion layers contains the gold compound represented by formula I in which L is a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ligand; X is an anion; l is 0, 1, or 2; m is 1 or 2; n is 1, 2, or 3; p is 0, 1, 2, or 3; and q is 1, 2, 3, or 4, thus permitting deterioration of photographic performance, such as increase of fog and deterioration of graininess with the lapse of time after manufacture to be prevented without lowering sensitivity.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obviate the fluctuation in functions among emulsion particles and to lessen the change in performance in an emulsion state as well as to obtain the photosensitive material having good reproducibility and preservable property by simultaneously adding the prescribed ratios of adsorptive additives to the emulsion and adding the additives to the emulsion while distributing the prescribed ratios to be added for the addition time longer than the average mixing time from the point of the time when the additives are added. CONSTITUTION:The prescribed ratios of the adsorptive additives to be added are simultaneously added to the silver halide emulsion particles and the additives are added thereto by distributing the prescribed ratios to be added for the addition time longer than the average mixing time from the point of the time when the additives are added in the case of addition of the above-mentioned additives for the silver halide emulsion particles by as much as the prescribed ratios to be added to the mother liquor of the silver halide photographic emulsion. Various kinds of such photographic additive are, therefore, adsorbed uniformly to the individual silver halide particles. The stable production of the silver halide photographic emulsion is executed in this way. The stability in the emulsion state and further, the preservable property of the photosensitive material coated with this emulsion and the performance thereof are improved.

CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned dye is added to the emulsion by taking the time Ta for distributing and adding the dye longer than the average mixing time T for mixing and stirring the emulsion. The time T to attain the uniform distribution in the liquid mixture phase is basically given by the average mixing time of the liquid mixture phase of the emulsion. The time Ta for distributing and adding the dye suffices, insofar as this time is longer than the average mixing time for stirring. The preferable time is >=1 minute, and further the more preferable time is >=5 minutes. The change in the desorption of the sensitizing dye from the silver halide particles or the adsorption state thereof at the time of the prepn. of the emulsion or the preservation of the photosensitive material is decreased in this way and the production stability preservable property and sensitivity are improved.
