    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a water-drawing phenomenon of a wiper blade by a structure which makes it hard to generate wind noise.
      SOLUTION: The wiper blade 14, which is attached to the end of a wiper arm 15, is structured with a blade rubber 25, which contacts a windshield 12, and a rubber holder 26, which holds the blade rubber 25. Guiding fins 45, 49 are provided at one end side across the length of the rubber holder 26. The guiding fins 45, 49 are formed extending to the other end side across the length of the rubber holder 26 as they go to the other end side across the length of the rubber holder 26. This structure makes traveling air bounded up along air-receiving surfaces 46, 50 of the guiding fins 45, 49 and guides a part of the traveling air flowing to the vehicle rear side of the guiding fins 45, 49 to the vehicle rear side of the wiper blade 14, when a vehicle travels.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the attachment rigidity of a wiper blade, and to improve the wiping performance, without deteriorating the attaching/detaching performance of the wiper blade to a wiper arm.
      SOLUTION: A wiper arm 13a is oscillatably provided on a vehicle body, and a wiper blade 14a reciprocatingly oscillated by the wiper arm 13a is attachably/detachably provided on the wiper arm 13a. At a tip end of the wiper arm 13a, a retainer tip end portion 22 is provided for holding the wiper blade 14a, and an arm attachment portion 23 engaged with the retainer tip end portion 22 is provided in a center of the wiper blade 14a. In the retainer tip end portion 22, holding walls 32a and 32b are provided which are brought into contact with a side face of the arm attachment portion 23 to hold the arm attachment portion 23 when the retainer tip end portion 22 and the arm attachment portion 23 are engaged with each other. The holding walls 32a and 32b pinch the arm attachment portion 23, thereby increasing the attachment rigidity of the wiper blade 14a and improving the wiping performance.

      SOLUTION: A four-node link mechanism is constituted by rotatably connecting one end of a driving link 31 having the other end rotatably supported on a vehicle body to an arm head 33 by the first connecting pin 41 and rotatably connecting one end of a control link 32 having the other end rotatably supported on the vehicle body to the arm head 33 by a second connecting pin 42. A first recessed part 61 for storing one end of the first connecting pin 41 and a second recessed part 62 for storing one end of the second connecting pin 42 are provided on a surface of the arm head 33. The recessed parts 61 and 62 are closed by a cover 63 to make a waterproof structure. The arm head 33 is provided with a first drain hole 66 opened in the first recessed part 61 and a second drain hole 67 opened in the second recessed part 62 so that a wiper arm 14b on an AS side may be located on a lower side in relation to the connecting pins 41 and 42 when the wiper arm 14b is located at a stop position.
