摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the effect of adding alkali metal compounds or alkaline earth metal compounds and efficiently carry out decomposition and detoxication of dioxins in a method for decomposing and detoxicating dioxins in which alkali metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are added to and mixed with a solid containing dioxins and the resulting mixture is heated. SOLUTION: Alkali metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are added to a solid containing dioxins and mixed with the solid utilizing a mixer. The resulting mixture is heated with a heating device to make dioxins decomposed and detoxicated. The alkaline metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are their oxides, hydroxides and/or such substances as to change to oxides or hydroxides by thermal decomposition. These alkaline metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are used in a state of a non-aqueous solution or powder.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well decompose dioxins by heating the fly ash, which contains zinc and/or lead and chlorine of which the amt. is chemical equivalent or more with respect to zinc and/or lead and characterized by that the pH of a fly ash aq. soln. is a specific value or less, from an industrial waste incinerator at specific temp. in an inert gas atmosphere. SOLUTION: The fly ash, which contains zinc and/or lead and chlorine of which the amt. is chemical equivalent or more with respect to zinc and/or lead and characterized by that the pH of an aq. soln. prepared by dissolving 1 g of fly ash in 100 g of water is 7 or less, from an industrial waste incinerator is heated in an inert gas atmosphere at temp. lower than the eutectic point of a base substance and a low m.p. substance but advancing the decomposition of dioxins, that is, at 200-300 deg.C. By this constitution, dioxins can be decomposed without generating the increase in the amt. of dioxins caused by polychlorination. Therefore, dioxins contained in fly ash can be well decomposed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve operability in the case of inserting a heat transfer tube into a mounting hole and to prevent a sulfuric acid dew point corrosion of the tube by forming the diameter of a mounting hole formed at a mounting plate in a heat exchanger body larger by a predetermined amount than that of the tube in which its surface is provided with an acid resistant material. CONSTITUTION:An end of a heat transfer tube 3 in which its surface is provided with an acid resistant material for preventing a sulfuric acid dew point corrosion is inserted from mounting holes 7, 8 of mounting plates 4, 5. Spacers 9, 10 are inserted into a gap between the holes 7, 8 and the end of the tube 3. The end of the tube 3 is radially enlarged, the spacers 9, 10 are brought into pressure contact between the surface of the tube 3 and peripheral walls 11a, 11b of the holes 7, 8, and the tube 3 is mounted at a heat exchanger body 1. In this case, the holes 7, 8 are formed in diameters larger by a predetermined amount than the tube 3. Accordingly, operability in the case of mounting the tube 3 in the holes 7, 8 is improved, damage of the material on the surface of the tube 3 can be avoided, and the sulfuric acid dew point corrosion of the tube 3 can be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make the part for the electrical instrumentation unnecessary in the work of installation for the functioning system of a sensor member which is put in contact with a liquid chemical so that the cost of the equipment can be lowered. CONSTITUTION:A liquid receptacle 13 is provided as a means of holding a pool of liquid chemical which has leaked out of a liquid chemical storage tank 12 and as a means into which such liquid chemical is made to flow. A valve 16 for the opening and closing is provided in a transferring line 15 which extends from the liquid receptacle 13 to a specific place. A force pressing the valve 16 either toward the opening or toward the closure is applied thereto by a pressing means 31. Counteracting this force from the pressing means 31, a holding means holds the valve 16 either in the closed state or in the open state. This holding means has a sensor member 33 which is so placed as to be put in contact with the liquid chemical when it flows into the liquid receptacle 13 and designed to be dissolved upon contact therewith. The dissolution of the sensor member 33 causes a break in the channel for transmitting the action of the holding means to the pressing means 31.

摘要： PURPOSE:To discharge the collected ash as a relatively small amt. of stable and harmless sludge by circulating the sodium hydroxide for a neutralizer, generated by th electrolysis of a separated waste liq. to a waste gas treating stage to make the collected ash separated from liq. stable and harmless. CONSTITUTION:An acidic gas is neutralized with sodium hydroxide, and the ash is collected in a waste gas treating stage. The collected ash is slurried, a heavy metal precipitating chemical is added to the slurry, and then the solid and liq. in the slurry are separated in the collected ash treating stage. The separated waste liq. is electrolyzed in the electrolytic stage. The sodium hydroxide formed by the electrolysis is circulated to the waste gas treating stage and used for a neutralizer, and the separated and collected ash is made into a stable harmless sludge. Consequently, the acidic gas in the waste gas is removed with high efficiency at the low running cost, the ash collected from the waste liq. is rationally made stable and harmless, and the final disposal is facilitated.
