摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the effect of adding alkali metal compounds or alkaline earth metal compounds and efficiently carry out decomposition and detoxication of dioxins in a method for decomposing and detoxicating dioxins in which alkali metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are added to and mixed with a solid containing dioxins and the resulting mixture is heated. SOLUTION: Alkali metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are added to a solid containing dioxins and mixed with the solid utilizing a mixer. The resulting mixture is heated with a heating device to make dioxins decomposed and detoxicated. The alkaline metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are their oxides, hydroxides and/or such substances as to change to oxides or hydroxides by thermal decomposition. These alkaline metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are used in a state of a non-aqueous solution or powder.

SOLUTION: The fly ash, which contains zinc and/or lead and chlorine of which the amt. is chemical equivalent or more with respect to zinc and/or lead and characterized by that the pH of an aq. soln. prepared by dissolving 1 g of fly ash in 100 g of water is 7 or less, from an industrial waste incinerator is heated in an inert gas atmosphere at temp. lower than the eutectic point of a base substance and a low m.p. substance but advancing the decomposition of dioxins, that is, at 200-300 deg.C. By this constitution, dioxins can be decomposed without generating the increase in the amt. of dioxins caused by polychlorination. Therefore, dioxins contained in fly ash can be well decomposed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively thermally decompose dioxin contained in ash, and at the same time, prevent ash from being solidified by partial high temperatures, and also prevent a stirring device from becoming damaged by wear, by blowing an inert gas into the ash through the supply of the inert gas of a high temperature into a container, heating the ash in an oxygen-short state and maintaining this state for a specified time. SOLUTION: A fly ash stored in an ash storage container 15 is heated by the passage of a high-temperature inert gas ejected from an aeration part 19, and the temperature of the fly ash is uniformly increased through the concurrent stirring and fluidization of the fly ash. In addition, the dioxin contained in the fly ash is thermally decomposed by maintaining this state for a specified time or longer. Further, if the ash storage container 15 is vibrated by a vibration device 18, the fly ash is vibrated, so that a passage hole for inert gas is collapsed to realize an effective heating. The inert gas after heating is dehydrated by a condenser 24 following the removal of the fly ash by a dust filter 23, and then is introduced into a heat exchanger 26. Finally, the inert gas is again heated by an exhaust gas from a dust incinerator 11 to be recycled.

In the medium-heating tank 7, the far infrared radiation heating unit 8 is installed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obviate the installation of a special device for removing harmful components contained in water by feeding the water produced by thermal decomposition into a combustion chamber of a waste incineration furnace. CONSTITUTION:After waste gas leaving a waste incineration furnace 2 is cooled by a temp. adjusting tower 4, a reaction agent is added to it, and the formed reaction product is collected together with flying ash by a bag filter 6. The reaction product is transferred together with the flying ash to a thermal decomposition device 12, where a harmful material, dioxins, is thermally decomposed. The produced water is stored in a storage tank 14 as drainage. The drainage contg. the dioxins is fed to a sewage tank 9 through drainage feeding piping 16. The drainage is sprayed together with the sewage to a high temp. zone in a combustion chamber of the waste incineration furnace 2 through sewage feeding piping 11. That is, the dioxins are thermally decomposed and made harmless in the waste incineration furnace 2. Therefore, harmful materials are made harmless without installing a special device.

The heating of the fly ash in the heater 16 is performed by a heating medium feeder 31 through a heating medium thermally recovered from a exhaust heat recovering device 2 of a refuse incineration furnace 1.
