    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the long-time reliability by preventing an array member for reception-side optical fibers from being strained and also prevent a reception- side optical fiber from peeling off an array member. SOLUTION: The optical fiber array member 1 has plural V grooves 5 cut in parallel and the connection end surfaces 15 of the reception-side optical fibers 3 are sunk and arrayed along the length of the respective V grooves 5; and a reception-side optical fiber press member 6 which is made of the same material with the optical fiber array member 1 is provided above the reception- side optical fibers 3 across an adhesive 10 and stress due to the difference in the coefficient of linear expansion between the adhesive 10 and optical fiber array member 1 is received, and reduced and suppressed by the reception-side optical fiber press member 6, thereby preventing the optical fiber array member 1 from being strained and the reception-side optical fibers from peeling off the optical fiber array member 1. The connection end surface of a master optical fiber 4 fixed to a moving stage 14 is moved to the connection end surface 15 of the reception-side optical fiber 3 and selectively inserted into the V groove 5, thereby making an optical connection between the master optical fiber 4 and reception-side optical fiber 3 so that they can freely be switched.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a UV resin-coated wire from being degraded due to ultrasonic rays in the monitoring changeover apparatus of a beam-of-light line which uses the UV resin-coated wire. SOLUTION: Fiber changeover selection devices A1 to AN and optical-fiber coupler modules 18 are installed at a frame 11, beam-of-light lines 43 at respective cores of subscriber-based optical cables 33 are coupled to the optical-fiber coupler modules 18, and the respective optical-fiber coupler modules 18 are connected to receiver-side optical fibers at the fiber changeover selection devices A1 to AN. Optical switches are installed at the fiber changeover selection devices A1 to AN, the receiver-side optical fibers which communicate with beam-of-light lines to be measured are changed over selectively, and beams of detection light from the beam-of-light lines are sent to the side of a test and control part so as to be measured by a pulse tester, an OTDR or the like. The respective beam-of-light lines 43 at the optical cables 33, optical core wires at the optical- fiber coupler modules 18 and core wires at the receiver-side optical fibers on the side of the optical switches use UV resin-coated core wires, and an apparatus is covered with a UV-cutoff case 50 as a whole so as to prevent the UV resin-coated wires from being degraded due to ultraviolet rays.
