摘要： PURPOSE:To make possible engagement of a lock lever for locking the door of a board with a bracket at the side facing to the position of a door hinge. CONSTITUTION:Two types of a right lock lever 10R to be engaged with a bracket 11 on the board side on the right side of an external operation handle device 3 and a left lock lever 11L to be engaged with the left side similarly are provided, and one of the lock levers 10R and 10L is used according to whether the hinge 1b of the door 1a of the board is on either of the right and left sides. Thus, the clearance in the longitudinal direction among the lock levers 10R and 10L and the bracket 11 at the abovementioned engaging parts is reduced at the position of the switch lever according to the ratio between the distance from the hinge 1b to the engagement parts of the lock levers 10R and 10L and the distance towards the switch lever of a circuit breaker, and a press plate for operating the switch lever not shown in the figure can be prevented from slipping off from the switch lever.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a contact stroke with room in a limited space by transmitting an operating stroke of a driving lever internally packaged in a breaker body to a contact holder of a quick closing contact mechanism equipped on an undervoltage tripping device by amplifying the operating stroke. SOLUTION: An intermediate lever 18 is provided as a stroke amplifying means to transmit an output stroke of the driving lever to the contact holder by amplifying it between the contact holder 14c of the quick closing contact point mechanism and the driving lever 16 internally equipped in the breaker body, an angular cam part 14c-2 is formed on a head end part of the contact holder by facing against a head end pin 18a of the intermediate lever, and a stroke ratio of the contact holder/the driving lever is increased by pressurizing the contact holder along the angular cam by the head end pin of the intermediate lever to be oscillated by motion of the driving lever on the undervoltage tripping device 14 with the quick closing contact mechanism 14 built in it as an accessory device of the circuit breaker.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the width of a heater over the total length and to reduce the cost for a material by engaging a side end of the heater fixed with a bimetal by one rivet, with the bimetal to serve as a detent. SOLUTION: A semicircular cut 20 is formed on a right side end of a basic end of the bimetal 9, and a rivet hole is formed between the cut 20 and an opposite side end. A semicircular projection corresponding to the rivet hole is formed by the extruding work from a back surface integrally with the heater 7. The bimetal 9 is fixed to the heater by one rivet 19, and the projection 23 is engaged with the cut 20, which prevents the displacement in rotation. As the projection 23 of the side end needs only a small space in the width direction in comparison with the rivet 19, a width of the heater 7 cab be minimized to ensure the energizing cross section in the fixing part of the bimetal 9, and the width can be remarkably reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize trip operation characteristics by simplifying the shape of a crossbar so as to improve its moldability, and by preventing unwanted sliding friction exerted between a pawl and a latch receiver in adjusting tripping current by axially moving the crossbar. SOLUTION: A trip crossbar 13 of a circuit breaker is provided between the operation end of a time limit tripping device and a latch receiver 12 connected to a latch 11 of a switch mechanism, and releases the latch 11 in response to the operation of an overcurrent tripping device. The trip crossbar 13 is composed of an insulating crossbar 15 and a pawl 21. The insulating crossbar 15 is journalled to a case 1 across poles, and on its shaft, an operation piece 16 opposite to an operation end of the overcurrent tripping device is formed. The pawl 21 latches and releases the latch receiver 12, according to rotational movement of the crossbar 15. The pawl 21 is rotatably supported separately from and parallel to the crossbar 15. An arm 21b projecting from the pawl 21 is abutted against the operation piece 16 of the crossbar 15 so that they are connected together.

CONSTITUTION:One side 3a of a lead wire 3 of a voltage trip gear 1 is connected with an electric power source side terminal 19 with one polarity of a circuit breaker 2 and driving voltage is applied between the other side 3b of the lead wire 3 and a lead wire 25 connected with a negative charge side terminal 24 of the circuit breaker 2. Consequently, since exciting current of the voltage trip gear 1 can be shut by the breaking part at the time when the voltage trip gear 1 is driven to trip the circuit breaker 2, the circuit breaking function for exciting current is improved as compared with that of a conventional microswitch.
