摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety of electrification prevention by making a circuit- breaker unable to be put ON in the event of an inspection of the inside of a board and improve a structure so that the parts of the device will not be damaged when the door of the board is forced to be opened without a handle device being unlocked. SOLUTION: In an external operating handle device in which a handle 1a of the circuit-breaker 1 installed at the inside of the board is linked via a holder 5, a coupling shaft 3 and a hook plug 6 with a handle unit 2 mounted on a front face of the board door, and which performs ON/OFF operation of the breaker by an operation of the operating handle 2b of the handle unit, a handle guide 4 to support a shaft 3 is made to be a broad wide U-shaped frame covering a peripheral area of the handle of the breaker, and engaging claws 4b are formed on the tip ends of the leg parts of the both sides, and the engaging claws are snap-jointed by being fitted into a concave groove 1b formed on the side face of the case of the breaker. Accordingly, the engaging claws are disconnected by an external force applied in case the door is forced to be opened, and released from the breaker together with the coupling shaft.

SOLUTION: A reset button 38 for manual reset is provided pressably on a cover 3 of a circuit breaker when latch cannot reverse to a trip position because an opening/closing lever is constrained at an OFF position by a remote operation device, and therefore, automatic reset of a tripping device cannot be performed by a latch pin. When the reset button 38 is pressed down, a trip cross bar 16 is pressed away and rotates, the cross bar 16 presses a pressing bar 10 of the tripping device against a tripping spring 12, and a movable iron core 8 is attracted to a fixed iron core 6 to perform the reset.

When the lever 8 is locked with the pad lock by turning the handle knob to OFF position, the locking claw 9 us released from the lock lever 8 by one hand and the lock lever 8 is taken out to the locking position by another hand, and after that, using the hand released from the engaging stopper claw 9 the handle knob 5 is locked in OFF position by hanging the pad lock 7 in a lock hole 8 b.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operation property of an insufficient voltage trip device attached to a circuit breaker in re-close of the circuit breaker after a trip action. SOLUTION: An insufficient voltage trip device 2 is provided with an electromagnet 5 excited by voltage of a main circuit, a trip lever 7 connecting the electromagnet 5 and a trip mechanism of a circuit breaker 1, a quick close contact mechanism inserted in an electric power supply circuit for the electromagnet 7, and an auxiliary handle 8 moving the quick close contact mechanism and an operation handle 1b to an 'ON' position. The operation handle 1b is moved from a 'TRIP' position to a 'RESET' position after trip action, and then the operation handle 1b is moved to the 'ON' position by operation of the auxiliary handle 8 to re-close the circuit breaker 1. A reset auxiliary handle 10 combined with a drive spring 11 for forcedly moving the operation handle 1b from the 'TRIP' position to the 'RESET' position is added in line with the auxiliary handle 8. A series of re-close operation, thereby, can be done by one hand.

SOLUTION: This is a door-mounted type, external operation handle device, which is arranged on the door surface of a distribution board or the like and makes switching operation from outside of a circuit breaker inside the board. The device is composed by combining a rotary-operation type handle 4 which guide-supported by a body 5, a lock lever 6 which is housed in a cavity 4a of the handle and axially supported freely appearing, and a lock pin 9 interlocked with the pull-out operation of the lock lever to lock the handle at the on-and-off positions. Furthermore, a stopper piece 6d, which gives springing function to the lock lever and protrudes its pointed protrusion 6d-1 sideways is arranged, and on the interior wall of the cavity of the handle, concave grooves 4b, 4c, into which the pointed protrusion of the stopper piece is inserted to cohesion bundle and hold the lock lever at drawn-back and pulled-out positions, are formed. In this way, the handle can be locked temporarily at on-and-off positions, without having to put a padlock or the like.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the invasion of arc gas into a switching mechanism when a current is cut off. SOLUTION: An insulation container of a circuit breaker is vertically divided into three portions, a case 1, an intermediate case 24, and a cover 2. Fixed contacts 21, 23 and a movable contact 22 bridging them are housed in the case 1 while a switching mechanism 13 and an over-current tripping device 8 are housed in the intermediate case 24. A holder 11 slidably penetrates square holes 27 on the bottom wall of the intermediate case 24, and a linear motion vertical to the bottom wall 24a is given to the holder 11 that opens/closes the movable contact 22 by being driven by a switching lever 29 of the switching mechanism 13. Only slight gaps are needed between the holder 11 and the bottom wall 24a in the rectangular hole 27 because the holder 11 makes linear motion, and arc gas produced in the case 1 is completely isolated by the bottom wall 24a and does not reach the switching mechanism 13 in the intermediate case 24.
