摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain methane gas, by using methane producing bacteria included and immobilized by a photosensitive polyvinyl alcohol prepolymer having a stilbazolium group in the side chain thereof. CONSTITUTION:Methane-producing bacteria included and immobilized by a photosensitive polyvinyl alcohol prepolymer having a stilbazolium group in the side chain thereof as a photosensitive group are used in org. waste water or org. waste. The introducing ratio of the stilbazolium group into the photosensitive polyvinyl alcohol prepolymer is pref. 1.0-7.0mol% to the mol number of the vinyl group is the prepolymer. From the aspect of the production of methane, it is effective and preferable that the polymerization degree of the polyvinyl alcohol component of the photosensitive polyvinyl alcohol prepolymer is 300-2,500 and the saponification degree thereof is 65-88%.
