    • PURPOSE:To compensate imbalance between wheels on the right and left, by detecting driving force of wheels, running states, and wheel driving states, and calculating driving force and a distribution value of the driving force with regard to an electric vehicle equipped with the driving motor for each wheel. CONSTITUTION:Four wheels 7 are driven by each electric motor 6 to move an electric vehicle. A driving force detecting means 1 detects driving force at each wheel, and a vehicle state detecting means 2 detects a running state. A driving state detecting means 3 detects a driving state for each wheel, and each output from the detecting means 1 to 3 is entered in a driving force calculating means 4 so that a distribution value for each wheel 7 is calculated according to a desired driving-force value and a running state. When the running state of the vehicle or the driving state of the wheel exceeds a given value, the distribution value is modified. Then, the modified driving force is transmitted from a driving control means 5 to each motor 6 to control the rotation of the wheels 7. Consequently, even when the vehicle runs along a winding part or on a rough road the imbalance of wheels on the right and left or a malfunction can be compensated, and the vehicle runs smoothly.
