摘要： PURPOSE: To improve picture quality by providing a pair of transducer gaps with different width for continuously extracting coherent information during scanning across tracks. CONSTITUTION: A reproducing device for video tape has a 1st transducer gap 316 much narroer than the width of tracks to be scanned and a 2nd transducer gap 318 as wide as the sum of a distance between tracks to be scanned and the width of one of these tracks. The gap 318 is arranged in a certain distance so that the gap 316 can pick up a signal at the required level before the gap 316 gets unsufficient for picking up the signal from the track when scanning one track. Further, when any one of these gaps 316 and 318 extracts a signal with a larger amplitude, they are switched so as to alternately supply regenerative signals.

摘要： PURPOSE: To improve the vertical and horizontal resolution of a picture signal receiver by reproducing pictures having second visibility by accepting the difference signals of first signals indicating pictures having first visibility and the pictures having second visibility and adding the difference signals to each other. CONSTITUTION: A high-visibility camera 400 generates base-band signals having an effective frequency band width expanded to 8.4MHz and the signals are impressed upon a standard-visibility monitor 710 through a 4.2-MHz low-pass filter 1010. The band width-limited signals are also impressed upon a high- visibility monitor 1012. A subtracting circuit 1014 generates difference signals having a band width from 4.2MHz to 8.4MHz by subtracting the band width- limited signals outputted from the filter 1010 from the full-band width signals inputted to the filter 1010. The difference signals indicate the high-visibility part of the signals and the combination of the filter 1010 and circuit 1014 works as a high-pass filter. The difference signals are impressed upon the second input of the monitor 1012. In the monitor 1012, an adding circuit 1018 receives the difference signals delta from the band width-limited signals, adds both difference signals to each other, reproduces high-visibility signals, and supplies the high-visibility signals to a monitor 714.
