    • PURPOSE:To provide the work transporting device having a transporting belt washing means which can automatically remove the coating material sticking to work transporting belts and can attain the cost reduction and manpower lessening of a spray type automatic coating applicator. CONSTITUTION:This work transporting device 10 has a pair of the endless transporting belts 14 which support both side edges of the work W. A pair of the transporting belts 14 are moved in synchronization in an arrow B direction by driving of a driving motor 26 to transport the work W to below a driving motor 26. Washing tanks 34 for washing and removing the coating material sticking to the transporting belts 14 are installed below the respective transporting belts 14. A solvent which can dissolve the stuck coating material and liquid which can wash the solvent remaining on the belts and the dissolved coating material are stored in separate chambers in these washing tanks 34. The transporting belts 14 moving in a return direction are introduced into the washing tanks 34 via rollers 42 and after the coating material sticking thereto is washed away by the solvent and the liquid, the belts are led outside the tanks.

    • PURPOSE:To carry out the centering work of a workpiece easily by reciprocating a sensor along the measuring standard line as well as loading the workpiece on a machining table and rotating the machining table, and measuring the distance and the direction of the position slippage of the machining center of the workpiece from the rotation center of the machining table. Depending on the calculated slippage, the installing position of the workpiece W is corrected by a position correcting means 40, so as to make the center positions C and E of both members coincide with each other.

In addition, each tool diameter is measured by the tool diameter measuring device 16 at the point midway in tool conveyance, and whether the tool is aright as specified or not is judged, and in the case where it differs from the specification, the conveyance is suspended. At the time of tool selection, tool life can be taken into account too.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent jamming of a punched strip between both rotary dies by providing a strip sucking means on the outer peripheral die surface region between a punch position of the strip and a set position spaced, through a specified angular distance, from that position in the rotating direction of the die. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-like material 6 is fed between rotary dies 2 and 3 whereby a strip is punched from the material 6. An upper rotary die 2 is solid while a lower rotary die 3 is cylindrical. A number of sucking holes 8 are formed, radially passing through the die 3 body, in a central part of the die 3 as viewed toward an axis of this die 3, in such a manner as to communicate the interior with the exterior of the die as viewed in the radial direction thereof. The strip punched from the material 6 is sucked by the sucking holes 8 of the lower rotary die 3 and, in this condition, is rotated up to a set position together with the lower rotary die 3. When the strip exceeds the set position, the sucking holes 8 having sucked the strip are cut off, or substantially cut off from the interior of the sucking cylinder 10, so that the strip is separated from the lower rotary die 3 and thus is allowed to fall off.

    • PURPOSE:To adjust the cooled length of strands and provide the solified state given preliminarily at the time of cutting into chips by composing a cooling tank for cooling strands of thermoplastic resin discharged out of a die head rockably around a horizontal shaft vertical in the strand conveying direction. CONSTITUTION:The line of strands S discharged out of a die head is dropped onto a chute 2 and guided into a cooling tank 3 in which cooling water is reserved. The cooling tank 3 is rockable around a horizontal shaft 4 vertical in the conveying direction of the strands and rocked by a working mechanism 5. The length of conveying line of the strands passing through the cooling water can be adjusted by rocking the cooling tank 3. The surface temperature of the strand after cooling is measured by a temperature sensor K, and based on its value the cooled length is computed, and the rotation of motors of working mechanisms 5 and 5A can be controlled so that the cooling tank 3 and a cutter 15 reach the lifting and lowering positions correspondingly to the cooled length to be found.
