摘要： PURPOSE:To attain very convenient recording by arranging a window having a convex lens to a case part corresponding to a section and its succeeding section led externally while bridging over a tape layer from an endless reel inner layer part and adopting the constitution that the inner part is observed with magnification so as to detect the start and end point of an endless tape. CONSTITUTION:Convex lenses L1, L2 are arranged to the window A. That is, the window A is arranged to an upper case of a Philips type cassette tape case 1, from which the inner most layer of a tape 5 wound on an endless tape reel 8 engaged with a winding hub 2 is extracted, and the convex lens L1 is fixed to the window A so that the position of a cross part B crossing with the other wound tape 5 is observed. Moreover, the convex lens L2 is fitted to the opposite position of the window A, and the said cross part is observed when the endless tape reel is engaged with the hub 3.

摘要： PURPOSE:To minimize the size of a recording device, by using a ring-shaped recording medium made in the shape of cartridge and mounting the cartridge under a condition where the driving mechanism section at the recording device side is inserted into the hollow part of the cartridge. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped recording medium structure body made in one body is composed of a flexible ring-shaped recording medium M and a supporting member S which can be rotated together with the ring-shaped recording medium M in one body. A motor 26 is installed at the inside of the case 25 of the driving mechanism section of the structure body and a driving shaft 29 equipped with a coupling section 28 which is fitted in a coupling hole 21 installed at the center of the supporting section S of the rign-shaped recording medium structure body is connected with the shaft of the motor 26. By installing a groove 37 into the outer periphery of the case 25 of the driving mechanism section MD and fitting a projection 22 projected from the inner surface 17 of the cartridge in the groove 37, the cartridge is correctly mounted.
