    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an inward projection with a simple structure comprising a few components by which an inner member does not fall away even in such a state that the projection gets inner pressure such as a compressed air from inside or even under the atmosphere of substantial change of temperature or aging variation. SOLUTION: The method for forming the inward projection comprises using a heated trowel 3 or ultrasonic wave horn having an abutting part with a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the opening of a resin-made cylindrical member 1 but smaller than the outer diameter thereof, forwarding the trowel 3 or ultrasonic wave horn to the inside of the cylindrical member while pressing to its opening, and deforming by heat the inside wall portion of the cylindrical member from its opening end 1b to an appropriate position so as to mound inward.
