摘要： The present invention is to provide a novel laser welding method, capable of preventing formation of a welding defect, and achieving a deep penetration by a low heat input so as to enable formation of a welding structure with a high strength and a high toughness even in the case of welding by a high power laser. A welding operation is executed with a periodical fluctuation adjustment so as to have a base output of 50% or more with respect to a peak output.

摘要： A first member (11) and a second member (12) of metal materials of different kinds are overlapped one upon the other, and the surface of the first member (11) is irradiated with a laser beam to form a melt-solidified portion (2). The melt-solidified portion (2) has a nearly inverted triangular shape in cross section becoming gradually narrow toward the inside from the front surface side of the first member (11), and has a low-hardness layer (21) on the front surface side and a high-hardness layer (22) on the inside. The high-hardness layer (22) has a welded structure in which first layers (23) and second layers (24) having a hardness smaller than that of said first layers (23) are alternatingly laminated in the direction in which the welding proceeds.

摘要： A twin spots pulse laser welding apparatus is disclosed which is used for providing a defect-free weld in a butt welding gap. The welding apparatus comprises a YAG laser oscillator 6, a chopper circuit for controlling the value of the lamp current of the oscillator, a chopping controller 12, a control panel 10 and a pulse generator 11 for applying a lamp current base value Wb and a peak value Wp and a pulsating pulse to the controller, and a twin spots laser head 14 for converging a laser beam delivered from the YAG laser oscillator to two foci 20R, 20L which are distributed in x direction with a very small spacing therebetween. YAG laser beam delivered from the YAG laser oscillator 6 is guided through an optical fiber cable 9 to the laser head.

The shield gas atmosphere G1 shields the circumference of the uranami B and pushes up the keyhole against the pressure of the shield gas S in the laser beam irradiation side, so that the droop of the molten metal (bead) is prevented and the formation of projection caused by the droop is prevented. 摘要： A laser-welding head is capable of applying a fixed pressure to parts to be welded of workpieces regardless of the undulation of the surfaces of the parts to be welded. The laser-welding head includes a pressing device (12) having a roller (16) which rolls along parts of workpieces near a weld line (40) to press together the same parts of the workpieces, a pressing unit (6) for applying a predetermined pressure to the pressing device (12) to press the pressing device (12) toward the parts of the workpieces near the weld line (40), and a laser beam projecting unit(17) mounted on the pressing unit (6) for movement together with the pressing device (12). The pressing unit (6) is provided with a pneumatic cylinder actuator for applying the predetermined pressure to the pressing device (12).
