    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of an image defect by suppressing deformation of a screen pattern when an image processing is applied to compensate misalignment for an image which is already screen processed. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with; a compensation value specifying part 33 specifying a compensation value for compensation of the misalignment in the image, a screen processing part 34 deforming at least one part of a pattern composing the image which is a printing object based on the compensation value, and a compensation processing part 35 carrying out deformation to compensate the misalignment for the image to which the processing is applied by the screen processing part 34. The screen processing part 34 applies a reverse processing as the image deforming processing by the compensation processing part 35 to the pattern composing the image. Alternatively, the screen processing part 34 deforms the pattern composing the image to match the pattern when no deformation is carried out after deformation by the compensation processing part 35.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device and a program in which a white stripe and a dense stripe caused due to a flight deflection phenomenon are not conspicuous, and to provide a printing method, image processing device, a program, a method, etc. SOLUTION: An ink jet type printing device specifies a pixel which participates in the flight deflection phenomenon on the basis of printing state information on two respective nozzles which print two adjacent lines in a print head 200. The pixel values of these pixels are corrected on the basis of the corrected information previously prepared for the printing state information, and then the values are subjected to N-value conversion processing to create printing data. Then, printing is performed using the print head on the basis of the printing data. Thereby, since the density of dots which directly participate in generation of a banding phenomenon is automatically corrected to eliminate the white stripe and the dense stripe, the banding phenomenon generated due to the so-called flight deflection phenomenon can hardly be conspicuous.
