    • PURPOSE:To prevent the scouring of the ground by tidal current, etc., by a method in which cement milk is injected into the seabed ground in and around the bottom of a marine structure while stirring by a stirrer to solidify the ground. CONSTITUTION:A stirrer incorporated with a rotary shaft 12 with plural blades 13 is buried to a given depth in the seabed ground 2 in and around the bottom of a marine structure 7. Then, while jetting cement milk from a jet nozzle 14 into the soil and sand, the blades 13 are turned and the cement milk and soil and sand are mixed together with stirring and solidified to form a solidified ground 11. A structure 7 is then set on the solidified ground 11, whereupon the seabed subgrade 9 for the structure 7 is fixed below the upside of the solidified ground 11 under its weight. By this, the scouring of the ground in and around the bottom of the structure 7 can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a structure from the adherence and growth of marine organisms, e.g., shellfish, algae, etc., by a method in which a metal plate provided on the interface with water is polarized for dissolution. CONSTITUTION:A pair of conductive metal plates 4A and 4B are attached to the iterface with water of a structure 2 with water-contacting portions, e.g., water intake or discharge channels or supply tubes for sea water and fresh water, ships, etc. The said metal plates are connected to an external DC power source, the polarity of the metal plates 4A and 4b is exchanged every an optional time period, and the supply of current is made and stopped to cause the metal plate on the anode side to dissolve in water. When the supply of current is made between the metal plates 4A and 4B, O2 and Cl2 are generated on the anode side and the metal constituting the metal plates 4A and 4B is dissolved in the sea water. Therefore, the adherence f shellfish, algae, etc., to the metal plate on the anode side can be prevented, or even if they adhered to the plate, shellfish, etc., is easily separated and dropped because the surface of the metal plates where shellfish, etc., adheres is dissolved and disappears.
