摘要： PURPOSE:To make the size of the system small and to attain a broad band system by leading a transmission signal inputted through a slit to a projection so as to attain signal radiation in the direction of the height of the said projection and the conductor hole side wall or the signal transmission to a waveguide. CONSTITUTION:A height (h) and a length (l) of a radiation ridge 8 are set a little longer than 1/4 of a transmission signal wavelength, a height H of a conductor hole 6 is set further larger than the 1/4 of the transmission signal wavelength and the lateral width W is set larger than 1/2 wavelength. That is, the upper aperture of the conductor hole 6 is a radiation aperture of an electromagnetic wave propagated to a radiator 5A while a modified ridge waveguide 5 is used as a feeder and the direction of an electric field of the radiating electromagnetic wave is coincident in the prolonged direction of a radiation ridge 8 and perpendicular to a bottom face 7 and the aperture in the conductor hole 6. The cut-off frequency in the radiator 5A is lower than the operating frequency. On the other hand, the width W of the conductor slot 3 of the modified ridge waveguide 5 is set sufficiently narrower than 1/2 wavelength and the cut-off frequency is increase more than the operating frequency.

摘要： PURPOSE:To adjust and change easily the optical axis and directivity by using a shaft and a gear or the like in a case of a transmitting and receiving device so as to vary simultaneously the light emitting direction of a light emitting element and the light receiving direction of a photodetector in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:In making an optical transmission with, e.g., a satellite station 41 fixed to a prescribed position, when a fixed position of the case 21 of the transmitting and receiving device moves from a point A to a point B, the direction of the optical axis of a light emitting axis 0 and a light receiving axis I is shifted by theta corresponding to the moving quantity L of the case 21. In this case, in turning an optical adjusting shaft 24 in the direction of arrow (a) via an optical axis adjusting hole 35, a gear 27 for varying the light emitting axis is turned in the arrow a1 and a slider 28 for varying the light receiving axis is slided toward the arrow a2 at the same time. Thus, the optical axis and the directivity are adjusted and changed easily.
