    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the space efficiency by placing a CATV terminal equipment to an optional position without the need for the location of the CATV terminal equipment at a position visible from the user with respect to the remote control light receiving device mount structure for the CATV terminal equipment installed in each guest room in, e.g. a hotel. SOLUTION: In this structure, a remote control light receiving device 14 of a CATV terminal converter 16 is designed to be a separate unit from the CATV terminal converter 16. Since the remote control light receiving device 14 is fitted to a front panel 15 of a shelf 11 like a house appliance on which a television receiver 13 is mounted, the CATV terminal converter 16 is made small. It is not required to locate the CATV terminal converter 16 at a visible position from the user like on the shelf plat 12 of the shelf 11 and the CATV terminal converter 16 is contained in a space not in use in the intrior of the shelf 11 like a house appliance. Even when a large sized television receiver 13 is in use, the space efficiency is improved and the external appearance is enhanced and no problem is caused in the installed location or the like.

Moreover, When the rectangular size (CXD) of the rectangular reflection mirror 11 in the parabolic antenna system is made correspondent to a major diameter A and a minor diameter B of the reflecting mirror 1 in a conventional parabolic antenna, the aperture of the rectangular reflecting mirror 11 is clearly wider than the aperture of the conventional reflecting mirror 1, the gain characteristic is improved more than the spread of the aperture area and the waste of the metallic body in the manufacture is eliminated.

The relevant position with the feeder line plate 3 is varied by the movement of the radiation element plate 6 to select a left rotatory circularly polarized wave and a right rotatory circularly polarized wave. Thus, the a left rotatory circularly polarized wave and the right rotatory circularly polarized wave are simply switched.

    • PURPOSE:To attain excellent cross polarized wave characteristic and stable operation by forming a dielectric film to an inner wall of a horn part of a conical horn antenna made of conductors via a resistance film and loading a circularly polarized wave generator made of a dielectric plate into the circular waveguide. CONSTITUTION:The antenna consists of a conical horn antenna 11 made of conductors, a conical horn 11a of the conical horn antenna 11, and circular waveguides 11b, 12 are provided with a resistance film 12 loaded to the entire face of the inner wall of the horn 11a. Moreover, a dielectric film 13 coated to the entire face of the inner wall of the horn 11a via the resistance film 12 and a circularly polarized wave generator 14 whose both ends are made of a dielectric plate loaded along the axial direction to the inner wall of the circular waveguide 11b so as to divide the circular waveguide 11b into two are provided. The circularly polarized wave generator 14 is loaded so that the deviation angle theta from the plane E is 45 deg.. Thus, excellent cross polarized wave characteristic forming axial symmetrical beam is provided without complicated constitution, and the horn antenna with excellent stable operation is obtained.
