    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor, and a stator, for a rotary electric machine that allows a main body, and split bodies, of a core to be coupled easily with a simple coupling structure and that also reduces leakage flux from the split bodies to the main body.SOLUTION: A rotor for a rotary electric machine has a plurality of permanent magnets 27 embedded in a core 21 in a circumferential direction thereof. The core 21 has a main body 22 on a center side thereof, and split bodies 23 on an outer circumferential side thereof. The permanent magnets 27 are located between the main body 22 and the split bodies 23. An air gap 28 is formed between the main body 22 and each of the split bodies 23 except for magnet locating portions 26 of the permanent magnets 27. The main body 22 and the split bodies 23 are coupled through the respective permanent magnets 27 so as to prevent the split bodies 23 from moving outward in a radial direction of the core.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device of manufacturing a magnet material having a magnetic anisotropy with high productivity by a liquid quenching method.
      SOLUTION: In the method, a molten metal of the magnet material is jetted to a cooling roll, a rapid cooling solidification strip formed on a surface of the cooling roll is conveyed by a rotation of the cooling roll while being stuck on the surface of the cooling roll, and runs into a rolling gap between the cooling roll and a rolling mill roll to be roll out. The device includes: a molten metal-holding container which holds the molten metal of the magnet material; a molten metal-jetting device which jets the molten metal from the molten metal-holding container to the inner circumferential surface of the hollow cooling roll; and the rolling mill roll which comprises the rolling gap between itself and the inner circumferential surface of the cooling roll.

Further, a second core 4, 4 having two magnets 4, 4 is disposed at this interval, and an edge surface of the second core 4 and the core unit 1 are cut at the respective edges to form the reactor core whose planar view is almost ring-shaped. This results in forming a coil 5 in the core unit 1 to be the reactor 10. There is provided an embodiment where an air gap is formed or the other where an adhesive layer 3A is inserted at the position where each edge surface of the second core 4 and core unit 1 are cut.
