    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely shut off in emergency, and make an emergency shutoff mechanism work regardless of a bent of a horizontal branch pipe part with flexibility due to an application of an external force. SOLUTION: A branch saddle 31 comprises a saddle part 33 fused on a surface of a synthetic resin pipe 32, and a perforating pipe part 35 erected on the saddle part. A tapping cutter 36 is provided on an inner surface of the perforating pipe part 35 of the saddle to perforate on a surface of the synthetic resin pipe. A shutoff value unit 37 is provided in the tapping cutter to shut off a passage in the valve when a pressure difference between the upstream and the downstream becomes more than a prescribed pressure when the flow rate in the downstream increases. This branch saddle with the shutoff valve maintains the tapping cutter on the inner surface of the perforating pipe part of the saddle. The tapping cutter 36 has a passage where liquid communicates in a gap to the inner diameter of the perforating pipe part 35 of the saddle. The liquid in the synthetic resin pipe 32 flows from the perforating pipe part 35 of the saddle to a branch pipe part 34 provided on the perforating pipe part through a valve unit attached inside the tapping cutter 36.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shutout a plastic pipe for protecting it from an outside environment so as to solve the problem such that it is deteriorated by ultraviolet by fitting a metal bellows pipe connected to a feed gas meter through a packing to the upper end of the plastic pipe erected on the ground, whose lower end is connected to a plastic pipe which is laid in the underground. SOLUTION: A riser pipe is formed by connecting the plastic pipe 30 arranged on a lower part thereof and a metal bellows pipe 40 arranged on an upper part there of to each other. The metal bellow pipe 40 is connected to a gas meter through a gas meter unit on the upper end thereof, it is inserted into the plastic pipe 30, and it is covered with a resin film 41 ion an outer surface. The plastic pipe 30 is connected by a plastic pipe which is laid on the underground and a joint, erected on the ground, and its outer surface is covered with a protecting pipe 50. A male screw 54 screwed around the female screw 31 of the plastic pipe is arranged on the upper inner surface of the protecting pipe 50, a packing 20 which is screwed ion the plastic pipe 30 and mounted on the wave recesses/projection part of the metal bellows pipe 40 is compressed, and the packing 20 is sealed between the plastic pipe 30 and the metal bellows pipe 40.

      SOLUTION: This insert type pipe joint for connecting the bellows pipe F having recessed and projecting portions 18, 20 in corrugated form on an outer periphery, comprises: a joint main body 26 in which a pipe insertion aperture 24 for inserting the bellows pipe is formed and an inner wall surface is stepwise formed; a nut member 30 in the ring shape connected to a leading end of the joint body; a packing member 31 in the ring shape slidably arranged on the inner wall surface of the joint body; a retainer member 48 interposed between the nut member and the packing member, with an inner diameter of the retainer larger than that of an outer diameter of the bellows pipe, and capable of diametrically contracted by inserting the bellows pipe into an inside thereof; and a stop member 44 arranged on a base portion of the packing member for locking the bellows pipe by engaging with the recessed portion of the inserted bellows pipe. The nut member is formed with a fallout preventing taper surface 56 which deforms the retainer member in a diametrically contracting direction when a force is exerted to the bellows pipe in a drawing direction and pushes it into a recessed portion of the bellows pipe.

SOLUTION: In the slip-on pipe joint 16 which joints the bellows type pipe F having a concave and a convex 18, 20 in corrugated form around the periphery, the pipe joint comprising: a joint main body 26 wherein a pipe insertion aperture 24 is formed in step-wise to insert the bellows type pipe; an entrance main section 30 wherein a pipe insertion opening 28 is formed and a guide member 32 inscribed in the pipe insertion aperture is provided slidably in the longitudinal direction; a low rigid ring real member 36 which is installed in the pipe insertion aperture and keeps close contact with the periphery of the bellows type pipe F at the nose portion when pressed by the insertion of the guide member; a retainer member 40 which is installed in the pipe insertion aperture and engages with a recess of the bellows type pipe when the guide member is inserted; and an engagement member 52 which is mounted on the guide member and engages with the inner wall of the pipe insertion aperture when the guide member is inserted in the pipe insertion aperture. Because of these construction, just by insertion of the bellows type pipe into the joint main body, the seal member is compressed, provides a firm sealing, and is prevented from the slipping-off.
