    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely effectuate skew servo and drive to rotate an optical disk by detecting a skew for the reflectively change type optical disk and executing skew servo on the basis of the detected result of the skew. SOLUTION: A detect output of a two-split photosensor is supplied as a skew error signal by a skew error detect circuit comprising a subtractor, an adder and a divider to a skew servo circuit 11. Based on the signal, the skew servo circuit 11 generates a control voltage corresponding to a correction amount for correcting a relative tilt of an optical disk 1 and an optical pickup 2 and supplies the control voltage to a skew motor 10. The skew motor 10 drives on the basis of the control voltage from the skew servo circuit 11 to rotate a cam 8 for moving up and down one end of a supporting member 13 for the optical unit 4, thereby changing a tilt of the optical unit 4. The relative tilt of the optical disk 1 and optical pickup 2, namely, a skew is thus corrected.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a need to attach a pivotally supporting shaft of a turning lever to a rotating disk to simplify and facilitate attachment of a flat spring material by positioning and forming the pivotally supporting shaft of the turning lever as one body together with the rotating disk and putting the turning lever on the lower face of the rotating disk and clipping both of them by the flat spring material having U-shaped side faces. CONSTITUTION:A pivotally supporting shaft 6 of a turning lever 7 is formed in the vicinity of the peripheral edge part of the rear face side of a rotating disk 3 as one body together with the rotating disk 3. The turning lever 7 is put on the lower face of the rotating disk 3, and a flat spring material 8 is inserted from the outer peripheral side of the rotating disk in this state, and the upper face side of the rotating disk 3 is retained by one of a pair of pieces 8a facing each other, and the lower face of the turning lever 7 is pressed with a projecting piece 8c provided in the front end of the other piece 8b to press the turning lever 7 to the lower face of the rotating disk 3, and the turning lever 7 is so supported that it does not slip off this shaft 6. Thus, the number of parts is reduced, and the positional deviation for attachment of the pivotally supporting shaft of the turning lever is eliminated, and attachment of the flat spring material is facilitated.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the change in an index position by supporting the contact point of a chuck arm inserted to the outer circumference of a support shaft and the support shaft itself with the inner circumference of a support hole to the prescribed position eccentric to the drive pin side with respect to the center of the support shaft before and after chucking. CONSTITUTION:The contact point P3 between the outer circumference f a sup port shaft 6 and the inner circumference of a support hole 7 of a chuck arm 5 inserted to the support shaft 6 is kept to a nearly prescribed position eccentric toward a drive pin 9 with respect to the center O3 of the support shaft 6 even before and after chucking. That is, the weight direction of a spring weight F4 by a spring 11 is tilted by an angle # in opposite direction to the turning direction of a turntable with respect to an x' coordinate. Thus, the arm length lof the chuck arm 5 attended with loading/ejection of a disk is not almost changed and the change in the index position is much decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To attain highly accurate recording and reproduction by providing a projection formed nearly in a circular-arc shape along the outer circumference of a turntable at a height slightly lower than a disk loading face at the opposite side to a drive pin while clipping a center pin inbetween. CONSTITUTION:With a disk 40 chucked, a drive pin insert hole of a center core 41 may override an upper end face 14a of a bearing 14. In this case, the core 41 is in contact with a point A of the face 41a and a point C on an upper end face 23a of a projection and is tilted by an angle theta1'. Since the projection 23 is formed almost in a circular-arc form, the core 41 is tilted only unidirectionally X'. As a result, since the upper end of the bearing 14 is not latched to a front side 43b and the tilt angle theta1' in the direction X' is very small, the outer side 43a of the core 41 is easily fallen off from the R of the outer circumferential corner 14b toward the outside. Thus, the insert hole 43 is surely inserted to the outer circumference of the bearing 14 and chucked.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate an appropriate head pressure adjustment according to a different recording density disk by providing a head pressure adjustable member consisting of a cam and ratchet which are concentrically fixed on the other end side of a spring member for energizing a supporting arm to press against the disk. CONSTITUTION:When a carrier 2 is transferred in such a manner that a head device is to be reached to a prescribed position out of the recording and reproducing area of the disk 1, a contact engagement member 28 is engaged with the ratchet 24 of the head pressure adjustable member 22, and consequently the cam 23 is rotated by a prescribed angle, so that the other end side in contact with the cam, of the spring member 21 is displaced to change an energized force of the spring member. For this, the pressing force of the supporting arm 4 against the disk 1 is changed, and then the head pressure of the head device is also changed accordingly. In this case, a sectional form of the cam 23 is properly set up in advance. By this method, an appropriate head pressure can thus be obtained in conformity with a kind of disk.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly record information in an optical disk by determining a necessary address in a short period, when writing information by a plurality of light beams. SOLUTION: In an address calculation circuit 34, when the address of a light beam is detected, the address of remaining light beam at that time and the next address to be read are calculated. Then, these calculated addresses are compared with the detected addresses in a comparison circuit 32. Then, a decision circuit 36 decides whether the detected addresses and the computed addresses matches. When they matches, the information recording is started, and when they do not match, the error deletion of the information is prevented by halting the recording of information. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
