摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely shorten the time for image forming operation by making the time when plural sheets of form pass through an image forming part the shortest in accordance with the length of an image formed on the form. SOLUTION: When a sensor SS1 detects the front edge of the form P1, a solenoid 45c is turned on so as to temporarily stop carrying the forms P1 to P3, and the solenoid 45c is turned off in specified timing so as to restart carrying the forms P1 to P3 (A). When the sensor SS1 detects the front edge of the form P2, the solenoid 45c is turned on so as to temporarily stop carrying the forms P2 and P3 (B). The front edge of the form P1 passes through a transfer position at the point of time when the sensor SS1 detects the front edge of the form P2, and the form P1 is continuously carried even in such a state. Thereafter, the solenoid 45c is turned off when the time required to carry the form 2 by the length of the form P2 from which a blank part on the front edge side is eliminated elapses (C). The carrying force of a resist roller 45 is supplied to the forms P2 and P3, and the form P2 is carried to a transfer position while keeping a state where the rear end of the form P1 is superposed on the front end of the form P2.
