SOLUTION: An opening 23 is made in one end wall of the toner bottle 20 such that the diameter of the opening is smaller than that of the cylindrical main body. In addition, a projecting part 85 for lifting toner is formed in such a manner that part of the internal face of the shoulder of an end face having the opening 23 made in it is projected to the edge of the opening 23 from the internal face of the shoulder. Further, the internal face of the circular wall of the container that continues to the projecting part 85 in a circumferential direction is projected beyond the edge of the opening 23 in the direction of the center line L of the rotation of the container. Thereby, a part 86 projecting in the opening is formed. The toner bottle 20 is substantially horizontally placed on the bottle holder of a toner supply device such that the opening 23 faces a lateral direction.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the recycle of image forming units by easily estimating the evaluation of the remaining lives of the image forming units in an image forming module, whose lives are shortened by exposure to substances that cause deterioration of the units.
      SOLUTION: The image forming device has a detection means 17 which detects an amount that the image forming units 13 and 14 in the image forming module 6 are exposed to substances that cause deterioration of them. When the image forming module 6 is recovered, the remaining lives of the image forming units 13 and 14 in the image forming module 6 can be estimated from the result of the detection by the detection means 17. Based upon the evaluation of the remaining lives, it can easily be determined whether the image forming units 13 and 14 can be recycled or not. Thus, the recyclability of the image forming units 13 and 14 can be improved.
