    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat-sensitive recoding medium which holds stable color developing properties and color erasing properties and can cope with wide-ranging use conditions and environmental conditions, and especially, in which light resistant preservability and moisture resistant preservability are improved. SOLUTION: The reversible heat-sensitive recording medium is composed by successively providing a recording layer, which includes an electron-donating coloring compound and an electron-accepting compound on a support as a main component and also includes a composition capable of relatively forming a color developing state and a color erasing state by a difference of the heating temperatures and/or the cooling speed after the heating, an intermediate layer, and a protection layer. The reversible heat-sensitive recording medium is characterized in that the intermediate layer includes a zinc oxide (A) having an absorption end in an ultra-violet ray UV-A region. It is preferable that the zinc oxide (A) has an average particle size of ≥ 0.1 μm and the absorption end in the ultra-violet ray UV-A region. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
