    • PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the laser color recorder by entering two light beams of different wavelengths to one acousto-optic element, modulating two carriers with two color signals respectively and applying the same to the acousto- optic element. CONSTITUTION:Light beams of different wavelengths emitted from lasers 16, 17 are combined to one beam by dichroic mirrors 18, 19 and this beam is entered to an acousto-optic element 20. The carriers from high frequency oscillators 21, 22 are modulated respectively by modulators 23, 24 by the black-and-white signal A and red signal B from a picture signal source and are combined to one with a synthesizer 25. This is then amplified with an amplifier 26 and is applied to the acousto-optic element 20. Here if the carrier frequencies are so selected that the directions theta of the two polarizing beams coincide, then the lasers from the lasers 16, 17 are modulated respectively to the black-and-white signals and red signal by the acousto- optic element 20 and are fetched out through a slit 27. If this way, the constitution of the layer two color recorder may be simplified.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the recorder of many resolution point numbers and a wide scanning width by driving an acousto-optic modulator at plural different frequencies and deflecting the modulated light in different directions. CONSTITUTION:The signals of different frequencies outputted by oscillators 9, 10 according to the picture signals corresponding to the front and last halves of images are modulated by modulators 11, 12 and are applied to an acousto-potic light modulator 15 via coupler 13. This causes the primary laser beams modulated according to the front and last half imaged from the leser 16 to be deflected in mutually different directions. These laser beams enter the scanning mirror, etc. 5 at different incident angles via mirrors 18, 20 and simultaneously radiate and scan the front and last halves of a recording photoreceptor 7. Hence, recording of many resolution point numbers and a wide scanning width by the laser beams of narrow scanning angles is accomplished by the simple constitution using one set of light sources and acousto-optic lighr modulator.

    • PURPOSE:To stabilize an image in an image recorder and to simplify a scanning system containing a light modulator, by utilizing laser light and the property of a light modulator. CONSTITUTION:Laser beams oscillated from laser oscillator 10 are sent to AO element 16 of one acousto-optical light modulator (AO light modulator) 15. Each color image signal M, Y, and C modulated with modulator 17a, 17b, and 17c is sent to mixer 18 and combined into one image signal, and applied to AO element 16. As a result, the laser beams incident to element 16 are polarized by polarization angles defined by each carrier frequency f1, f2, and f3 and divided. At the same time, each polarized laser beams are modulated by each image signal, taken out as polarized laser beams 1M, 1Y, and 1C, and converged on photoreceptors 25a, 25b, and 25c. This simple scanning system permits stabilized images to be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:The light radiated from luminous element 1 according to the picture signal is made parallel and focused through lens system 31 and 32. The light is put into end 51 of optical fiber bundle 5 from deflecting unit 4 possessing rotary multi-phase mirror 41 and reaches along the curvature of the arc end 52 formed linearly to be radiated and then to be focused on the surface of sensitizer drum 7 rotating in the arrow direction via focusing optical transmitter array 6. Thus, the potential is attenuated at the focusing part. Then a write-out scanning is given to sensitizer 7 in accordance with the picture signal equivalent to one line. In this case, the write-out scanning is possible for n-lines simultaneously by securing light emission via different picture signals and using n-units of luminous elements.
